Black knighting: Occidental 404

This is exactly the sort of thing that should be happening at every university across the country in the new year:
Occidental College has been barraged with bogus allegations of sexual assault in recent days after two groups, one claiming to represent "men's rights," set out to undermine the school's anonymous reporting system, a college spokesman said.

Shortly after members of the online communities Reddit and 4Chan began discussing the idea late Monday, Occidental spokesman Jim Tranquada said, the campus was flooded with reports — some by people who claimed to have been assaulted by "Occidental College," "feminists" or "Fatty McFatFat."

Over 36 hours, some 400 such reports were made. Occidental officials now are trying to determine how to isolate false claims from any actual assaults that may have been reported during that time.
However, it would be much better if the male college students would file genuine reports against women with whom they have actually had sex. I would encourage every man who hooks up casually in college to file a sexual assault report against the woman the following day, especially since the chances that a man actually gave explicit verbal consent are nil. This is the only way to destroy the unjust system of sexual apartheid that is completely stacked against college men.

Black knighting is all about turning the machinery of the system against itself. If a few outsiders can so effectively monkey wrench the sexual assault machinery with obviously false claims, imagine what those inside the situation filing genuine reports that are objectively indistinguishable from the reports filed by women can accomplish. Every single time a woman so much as touches a man without explicit permission, she should be charged with sexual assault.

Flood the system. Crash it with data. 404 it. It works.

"In a letter to faculty on Wednesday, Occidental's interim Title IX coordinator, Lauren Carella, suggested the college may shutter the reporting system."

That's in response to a single act by outsiders. Once the men within the system begin acting in self-defense, the feminists will have no choice but to a) start prosecuting women, b) openly admitting the sexual apartheid, or c) shutting down the system.

You have made this suggestion ("turn the tables and accuse them") before. Here, for example: http://alphagameplan.blogspot.com/2013/12/italian-black-knights.html

Time for a quick Q: when have you done this? Specifically. Because if you've taken the liberty to taunt others to turn the tables and make accusations and you've not done this yourself, then by definition you are ... a coward and a hypocrite.

Which is it?

Last time that immediately comes to mind was when Vox applied for ethnic minority status as an author.

This raises the question: if you like the girl you slept with and want to keep having sex with her, would accusing her of harassment make that more or less likely to happen? Could a guy frame this as an alpha move, get the girl to come back for more (maybe get her to think she was disappointing and needs to prove she can do better), and then accuse her of stalking?

I would caution only because the tables can be turned. It might be useful for the LGBT contingent. Beyond that defining rape down to sexual harassment nonsense (the professor was looking at me wrong...). Or just report the leading liberal male students that are all for it. Can we convince Scalzi to go back to college?

Here is my answer: Go fuck yourself, Paul.

I don't play gotcha games. They are bullshit exercises in attempts to attack an argument without directly dealing with it. Whether I am a coward and a hypocrite or not, an action can only be deemed worthy or not on the basis of its merits, not the personal qualities of the actor or the advocate.

Never forget this: I am smarter than you are.

No one is questioning your intelligence. It's your mettle that is being questioned. Rightly.

By the way, when you're in a hole, quit digging; especially when someone offers you a hand up.

It is being questioned, true, but it is not rightly questioned. My mettle, or lack thereof, is totally irrelevant to the subject at hand. You will not succeed in making this about me.

And while you have not succeeded in discovering anything about my past actions, your present ones have said a great deal about your desire to tear others down. I have no need of any hand up.

The problem with black knighting is selective enforcement. So filing a false sexual assault claim is a crime, but one that will be selectively enforced against men, and women who are repeat offenders where the men involved have objective evidence to the contrary.

Didn't Russian prisoners try this in some Soviet Gulag to great effect (can't remember the author's name).

The method is actually quite brilliant, considering the opponent is a veritable behemoth with an infinite supply of physical violence (security guards, police, national guard, military, prisons etc.), confronting it on its own terms is suicide.

Attacking its informational processing systems with overload tactics will force it to contravene it's own meta programming (rules, regulations, laws etc.) and contradict its memetic propaganda (fairness, equality, justice etc.).

Once it's memetic propaganda is revealed to be logically inconsistent it can no longer rely on voluntary self policing (according to its memetic propaganda) and must revert to open discrimination and maintain order by force.

Once it relies on external force rather than internal self policing it has lost.

Brilliant Vox.

Do you even know what a hypocrite is?

There is a lot of advice I would give to college students 20 years younger than me that I cannot do myself. I'm married with kids, so I cannot ethically do what I would suggest they do. That doesn't mean i'm a hypocrite, it just means that I'm wiser and/or have learned the hard way. Same goes for married men who warn against marriage, childless women over 40 who suggest having a family early, and middle age men who advise college men of campus dating dangers.

In fact, the saddest part of my whole commentary is that it seemed necessary to say it to you. Most people would call it stating the obvious.

@Trust: Try not to confuse giving advice to people based on your own experience with taunting others to take a course of action in which you might engage but that you do not have the balls to carry out.

It was a good move. They have demonstrated how useless and unrealiable an anonymous reporting system truly is. However, you're heading into feminist territory when you suggest men should report women for sexual assault each time she is much as touches him. There is a reason all of these reports were false. Don't feed the rape hysteria beast.

Yep Paul with the gay name, it is pretty certain that Vox has never taken an economic hit or had his books or memberships boycotted by the mainstream because of his public stances on various cultural issues.

Nope, never happened.

And again, I point out that you have absolutely no idea what courses of action I have taken in the past. Nor do you have any business demanding that I provide that information to you. We all know perfectly well what you're trying to do, Paul. It's simply not going to work.

Not the point, although I admittedly set myself up for a response like that.

The point is that dispensing advise, particularly to a younger demographic, that one can no longer realistically or ethically do themselves, is not hypocrisy. I used my own situation as a married man with children a couple decades beyond college simply for perspective, since my demographic is similar to the one you are scolding. That isn't to say my perspective should be everyone's.

He's perfectly capable of defending himself, but I do want to say this... he has taken some pretty controversial positions publicly, such as opposing women's suffrage, which literally can be dangerous (I know a woman who received death threats against her children after criticizing feminism). And the reason I have read him for years is because his positions are always backed up by intellectual arguments, rather than shame so characteristic of the left. You may agree or disagree with his positions, but only a blind fool could seriously consider him a coward.
