Julia Gillard ousted: Achievement does not equal respect if you're a woman...The problem for Julia Gillard was not - as it had been with her predecessor Rudd - her performance. It was that, from to beginning to end, she remained female. And yet, one would assume that the electorate that has withdrawn support from her to such an extent that she only has 29 percent of the primary vote knew she was a woman when she won election.
The bewildered writer points to Gillard's "achievements":
- Australia's first National Disability Insurance Scheme, of direct benefit to the 500,000 Australians living with disability
- Introduction of carbon pricing and an Emissions Trading Scheme which has reduced carbon emissions in Australia between 8-11 percent
- Overseeing the Gonski review for the revolutionary overhaul of the entire primary and secondary education sector
- Seeing that Australia take up a seat on the UN security for the first time
- Instituted life-changing policies for improvements in indigenous literacy
- Overseeing a national broadband network of high-speed internet is nation-building infrastructure
No, it can't be that. It must be because they didn't know she's a woman before, but they realize it now. Those stupid, benighted Australians clearly didn't recognize that once a woman claims an electoral office, it shall henceforth be considered the property of the female sex. Because sexist.

I wouldn't be surprised if eventually female political office holders will sue in court when they lose, claiming sexism or harassment or some similar charge. I wouldn't even be surprised if a court sets aside an election in such a case.
"faulty spreadsheet economics"
Spreadsheets are sexist tools of the patriarchy. Rows and columns are phallic symbols.
Takes some gall to accuse those who voted for her of being too sexist to support her.
Then against, leftoids would have you believe those who voted Obama into office are too racist to support his policies.
Yet these are those who regard themselves as the more rational group.
Who are they trying to convince? Julia Gillard's performance has been shocking.
Julia Gillard has never technically been voted in on her own merits.
That is the case with any -ism. Somehow an Obama defeat in 2012 would be racism because apparently the country didn't know he was black in 2008.
Those are achievements?
Those are the best the writer could think up?
This writer never considers the possibility that many would rather the opposite of each of these achievements be enacted.

But, they are! You see, if they weren't so racist, they wouldn't hold Obama to higher standards than they would a white man. A white man with the same track record would be applauded; a black man? No way. Same with women; they are expected to function at a much higher level than men in order to be accepted. (See how easy it is to get inside the leftoid mindset?)
Anyway, I hope these morons keep harping on sexism and racism and whatever-ism, because it eventually inures people to it all. It's like car alarms. When aftermarket car alarms became popular, they quickly became notorious for going off at the slightest provocation. Result? People stopped paying attention to them altogether. At this point, it's doubtful that anyone ever thinks a car is actually being broken into when an alarm goes off. The same thing will happen with charges of -ism.
Every single one of her "achievements" is a socialist handout to some special interest group or other. What's not to like? (If you're one of those groups, anyway.)
Feminist women playing the victim card while amassing more privilege and power is an old trick now but one they are expert at getting away with, tapping into the protective instincts of white knights like a "fempire" sticks its fangs into the soft exposed neck and sucks the lifeblood out.
She sounds like Australia's Al Gore.
Obviously those sexist Aussies who voted for her in the past only did so to set her up to be ousted so they could point and laugh.

I know I would.
