What a leader looks like

Notice the relentless expectation of performance, not only his own, but everyone else's too. He's not hesitant to criticize, or express frustration, but he also takes care not to dump the responsibility on the man who made the mistake. He constantly expresses his affection and concern for his subordinates. And he commands authority because he respects it and knows his own place in the chain of command.

As a lifelong Raider fan, he's been a godsend. The ankle injury was tough to see but Carr is the Alpha firebrand bringing the franchise back.

That aside, Kenny Stabler in retrospect seems like a high Sigma or maybe I'm wrong. How typically can Sigmas take organizations to the top before they begin seeking another path?

The Moral Alpha truly wants to see his mates succeed.

That was inspiring stuff.

Unfortunately, once the feminization of the NFL is complete (I'd say in no more than three years), guys like Carr are gonna be drummed out of the league for being "mean," "abusive," or "threatening." Of course by that time the NFL will be bankrupt and most teams folding because they will have lost their audiences.

That was just plain awesome. Kind of commitment and striving for excellence that is lacking these days in most in every aspect of life. He shows a level of passion that rises above the stupor of the masses.

@Sambuca the book Snake by Ken Stabler is a classic. Major alpha from what I gather. During his induction into the hall of fame there was a touching moment where his grandson kissed stabler's bronze bust on the forehead. Reaction to those around a real man and true leader is also telling.

Derek Carr has the potential to be even a greater quarterback. I love how quickly he gets rid of the ball, shows confidence.

...and he knows what he's doing. He's qualified to lead and ask others to follow.
