Who is Ashley Adamson? I was watching ESPN in the airport yesterday. There was a female anchor moderating between Herm Edwards and another guy. My honest thoughts were: what the hell does she know about football, and she's old.
Ah, the sideline chicks! Don't you admire them for placing themselves in harm's way? I just live for the day when a five-foot tall chickie gets erased on the sideline by a six-seven 280-pound tight end running at full speed. Think of the splendid funeral! Ah, the sacrifices women make to prove they're just as tough as men!
Hat tip to Brendan Ross whose retweet of Adamson's tweet showed up on my feed. Male sportscasters make picks for the wrong reasons too, but this made me chuckle because she's so plainly playing into the stereotype of women valuing superficial aesthetics in men over substantive concerns. (BTW I'd take Stanford -2.5 if anybody's betting.)
My main problem with female sportscasters is that I can't hear them. There's something about the female voice that simply doesn't cut through the background white noise.
ha! ...but was that amazing black leather jacket one of these little beauts from Scottevest? http://www.scottevest.com/v3_store/ALT-10M.shtml (w/21 pockets ..even fits an iPad).... And as for that tweet... yeah, not sure why Ms. AA is equating fashion with football...BUT at least David could get all his things into the stadium if he wears SeV ;) easy solultion to the NFL bag ban. +No clear bag needed. ;)

OT - Vox, you see this video and hear about this incident in Argentina? - Violent mob of topless pro-abort feminists attacks praying men defending cathedral. Watch the video linked to the article. One of the better examples of how feminism is anti-civilization.
The worst are the NFL sideline 'reporters' who talk about how the coach and players are FEELING about the game. Ugh.

If I wrote a story and had a female character do something like that I'd be attacked as a sexist chauvinist pig for having her act dumb.
It happens in real life and someone points out it's dumb, and they're a sexist chauvinist pig, and a misogynist to boot.
Yeah, that makes sense.

Meh. Could be just a joke.

Yes, but it's funny (in a manner of speaking) because it's true.
