The most important issue facing young women

I have to admit, I had no idea that this was the biggest challenge for young women today:
When someone recently asked me what I think the biggest challenge is for young women today my on-the-spot answer wasn't about equality in the workplace or combating misogyny, but what do to with their pubes. Angst about pubic hair comes down to one thing; women changing themselves because of what they believe is expected of them sexually instead of what they want (ask any 24-year-old on their way to a bikini wax if it's how they really want to spend 20 minutes and see what they say).
I always enjoy reading this sort of thing, and then remembering how women used to argue that if men would have only stopped oppressing them, they would have totally written great books and advanced science and cured cancer and in general improved the world in every possible way. After all, if Man has achieved so much by utilizing only 50 percent of the population, imagine if 100 percent of the population was able to achieve its full potential!

It turns out that freed from male expectations and left to their own devices, what women actually do is write terrible bondage porn, methodically ruin organizations whose purposes are of insufficient interest to them, and obsess about how to style their pubic hair. It turns out that the full potential of women was already being utilized in what some would consider the rather important role of securing the survival of society and species.

If I had a time machine, I would love to go back and read articles like these to the original suffragettes. I would hope it would suffice to have put them off their program in no time. While some might consider my position to be misogynous, it's not at all. It isn't miscanine to believe that dogs are likely to vote their short-term preferences or misfeline to be dubious about the ability of cats to contribute to raising the level of scientage.

Miseo is simply not how I regard women. I feel absolutely no hate, disgust for, or revulsion of women. Exoutheneó is the correct term. And the fact that I have met so few women with both the wit and the honesty to grasp the difference between the two is only one of the many reasons for my open eksoudenogyny.

One of my wife's key concerns is the house's supply of chocolate. And if I have any stray hair growing on the side of my facs.

Regarding suffrage, indeed. Well, and the notion that women have a place in the outer world of men, to be sure. If it had no political voice, it would be little different, it simply wouldn't be infecting everything else. This is nothing new, it is just that until the last century, and I would even say the broader allowance and use of the pill, this was considered a fable that girls, and some women, espoused... to naught. It will return to as it was, one way or another. Our culture, very possible our race as even islam is failing even with it's brutal methods, may cease to exist. If our existence depends on that, if our cultures have become inextricably tied to feminism, then it is for the better.

Removing pubic hair is their biggest challenge? Then they've got it made, because there are literally dozens of ways to do it, and most of them take very little time per week.

If that 24 year old is so concerned about her pubic hair, at least we know she's seeking our attention. Win.

Adam Lawson said...

Oh God. I knew I should not have read the article.

“Now, my pubes stick out of the sides of my swimming costume in the leisure centre, but I'd rather look like that than anything else.”

That's just wrong, on so many levels, but...

“I think most guys are so delighted that they're about to get laid they wouldn't notice if you had a full-on Zach Galifianakis-style beard down there. But there are some men who are probably a little bit more picky and prefer the bald look.”

Beta vs Alpha, there. "I'm so happy to get near your vagina, I don't care if it looks like a hairy cow-tongue soup!" pretty much screams Beta.

The article also discusses how waxing can increase the risk of some STI. You know what decreases the risk of ALL STIs? Getting off the carousel.

Quite an interesting article, that...

Ah yes, all or none, naught between. Such is the logic of women.

Translation: "some men who are probably a little bit more picky" = "the only men in whom I am interested". Hence the tremendously difficult dilemma.

From Gamma Rabbit to Pubic Hare.
Adds new meaning to "Bad Hair Day".

I think the Suffragettes erred in one thing. They became the women they were as a result of the Patriarchy. Matronae need Pater Familiae. I'm not persuaded that equality before a minimalist law (not including suffrage - unless it was based on something like property ownership or paying taxes so women would have to succeed) would have been so bad - It probably would have been stable and excesses avoided. (Also a 40 year old mother of at least 6 has a different perspective than an unmarried 18 year old).

The Suffragettes called for any woman to have the vote. That is about as stupid as having anyone in this country (including illegally) have the vote. Note they were also pushing for voting for Senators instead of having them appointed by (and thus beholden to) the states. And the income tax.

While I can think of voting as a right, it cannot be legitimately used to violation other rights no more than the right to own a gun makes robbery legitimate. But that is all the women and others who have been given this loaded gun by proxy - since the occupying army of federal agents will use guns at their behest - have used the franchise for.

Of course, they didn't need an amendment before 1900, just a train ticket.
Wyoming 1890
Colorado 1893
Utah 1896
Idaho 1896

I wonder why instead of marching and amending the constitution they didn't all just pack up and move to Wyoming and become cowgirls. Wardrobe maybe (adds new meaning to ranch dressing).

I imagine shaving your pubes during a Wyoming winter was damned uncomfortable before the invention of central heating, hot water heaters, and disposable razors. Or maybe they just chaffed too much on horseback.

Anyway, whenever I hear of women complaining about "what they believe is expected" in the looks or sex department, I just think about the difference between the average model in a women's magazine like Vogue and the average model in a men's magazine like Maxxim (or even Playboy). It's women's magazine that "expect" freakishly unnatural looks, whether it's clothing, body fat or hair style.

Intellectual accomplishment is not a God-given assignment for the vast majority of women. If they want to compete on those grounds, they will be judged on those grounds. I respect a woman who decides to bear children and raise them faithfully with her husband. This does not mean I have any respect whatsoever for her opinion on the ideal interest rate or what hiring practices should be permitted to a corporation.

Heh yes. I can imagine this woman, after going on and on about unfair expectations of men and focusing only on looks etc, then goes and sits down and whines that she wants a man who's lean, muscular, wealthy, bearded / hairy chest and so on, right down to the colour of his eyes and hair, and his exact height, despite her being 5'1"...

There's so many women who won't settle for anything less than the "perfect" man, yet pretty much all most blokes expect of women in the looks department is to be slim and smooth, and that's about it (and that's unfair?). All the rest of the "expectations" come not from men, but other women or the media that they're obsessed with.

This sounds like a problem for vapid upper class women who have too much time and money on their hands. It certainly isn't a primary subject of interest for the lower class young women I spend a great deal of time with these days. Rather, they worry about whether they will be able to pay their bills, or how Obamacare's going to fuck everything up and whether a war in Syria is right or wrong; they worry about their weight and health and discuss their problems/desires regarding men. Do they care about pubic hair style in addition to these subjects? Probably. Most women care about their appearance in some manner (whether they use it to please or rebel). I wouldn't know. I don't tend to inspire such discussions.

I understand the difference between miseo and exoutheneó. I understand why you would give zero value or credence to vapid people who write bondage pornography and believe pubic hair styles are so very important to the state of femalehood/humanity/whatever. I've been reading your articles long enough to know that you respect a handful of women writers who don't write bondage pornography and women in general who stay married and raise their children. So I'm not particularly offended by what you say in your above article. I'm more offended by vapid people who have nothing better to worry about than pubic hair, and that goes for men as well as women. To this, "This does not mean I have any respect whatsoever for her opinion on the ideal interest rate or what hiring practices should be permitted to a corporation," I would add my own caveat: I don't necessarily respect anybody's opinions on the ideal interest rate or the hiring practices permitted to corporations, unless their opinions deserve respect and haven't been shown to be destructive to society. I have little respect for the economics of Keynes, for example, despite his gender. Neither do I respect what Marxist ideas have done to our society.

Yeah but is a man really going to turn down her down if he is already committed to getting her naked? Much more likely that he will just skip the foreplay and do his business. I suppose she runs the risk of being one and done.

I think popular vote by the Senators was a bad idea all around. People complained about the gridlock, and quite frankly that means the system is working. You aren't supposed to get things done unless a super majority agrees.

I wish they brought back some form of poll tax. Say you have to have filed a positive IRS income tax return in 3 of the last 4 years. Also acceptable some sort of property, forward line military service, and/or critical thinking exam.

I also remember Phyllis Schlafly and Elaine Donnely who were both quite the intellect and fought the feminists (Thank God we never got the "Equal Rights Amendment"). But note how they were and are excluded from the GOP now.

Mothers tend to have a different perspective than hypergamettes on the carousel.

You'd have only succeeded in encouraging them. If you look at the histories of some of these clowns, its pretty clear they were degenerates.

Bob, when I suggested Women's magazines are the ones with unnatural expectations, I was referring to expectations about women's looks. Certainly, women do have expectations about men, but I wasn't trying to argue they have a double standard. I was arguing that women are the ones responsible for creating idiotic expectations for themselves.

Maybe it's a way to dodge the mostly reasonable expectations men have. "Not fat" requires some self-discipline. Shaved pubes requires a razor or a trip to the salon. "Nice personality" requires, well, self-discipline again (in not indulging selfish emotions), but big tits requires either genetics or $5 grand for the plastic surgeon.

His Lordship said...

Indeed, razor cuts, itching stubble, or ingrown hairs on that sensitive region are a small price to pay for the great honour of the attention of an ordinary beta--

Ah, damn me, I didn't quite make it through without laughing. Why indeed should a woman put herself through all that for such males as your species has to offer, when, for the most part, they do not even want them?

This really is it. 94% of women are capable of being 5+ through age 25 provided they keep their weight in check and spend a minimal amount of time on personal grooming. Which is plenty of time to get a man if they are appropriately feminine. Problem is they have been indoctrinated not to take care of that part of their life.

The attack on self image is just a means to sell more product, and as women hit the wall they fight it even harder with consumerism. I watched a bunch of 6s deteriorate into 4s on their way to 35 recently so they aren't even likely to land a decent beta at this point. But hell they probably spend more on personal care products now than I do on utilities & telecom combined.

Oh, those poor young things. My heart [such as it is] goes out to them.

For the record, I prefer a kempt landing strip style.

I have been known to send a young woman home for letting her bush run riot, or for shaving it bare.

Bald works. So do landing strips. But as Red Foxx said, "Ladies, just make sure you wash your ass!"

Personally, I insist my women have the Amok family coat of arms shaved into theirs. But none of them ever get the lion's pose quite right.

His Lordship said...

Within my memory--indeed, in many societies to this day--a woman who shaved her bits was easily identified as a prostitute. Why? Because she shaved to rid herself of an infestation of pubic lice.

You demand the outward trappings of whores in your women, and then wonder why the inward follows suit.

The most important issue facing women today is their family and health. Maybe if we lived in an era where women could all wear ball gowns and princessy clothing on a daily basis, women would be preoccupied with their inner and outer beauty. Given that would devolve into vanity, fights over ribbons, dresses would be ruined or labeled as "too tight", etc., but at least a few of us could walk around in our best, all dolled up everyday until feminism ruins that too.

Designers would finally be able to stop making their current lines of dreck and selling those horrid colors. They could return to gowns or higher quality dresses. Think Vera Wang style.

Regarding grooming, is anyone tired of these streaks of mismatched hair? What ever happened to the highlight industry?

I know while I'm leading a discussion at work to determine how to save another $500k by increasing worker effeciency and improving quality, my thoughts keep drifting to whether or not I should go natural or wax or shave or whatever, instead of focusing on getting high quality work done while getting paid.

Not.
