Alpha Mail: too hot for New York

JG informs us that Alpha Game is too hot and spicy for the tender, innocent, and easily influenced minds of the employees of the State of New York.
Alpha Game blog is trash according to the web filter utilized on State of New York computers. I attempted to go AG only to find it has been blocked under the same category as pornography even though there isn't much explicit discussion on "sex" to be found there:

Content blocked by your organization
Reason: This Websense category is filtered: Sex.
URL: http://alphagameplan.blogspot.com/
I am definitely citing this the next time I am informed that I need to loosen up and get a little more with it by some urban hipster.  Fortunately, the employees of the SEC will still be able to visit here, assuming they can tear themselves away from their regular porn.

No, I have a friend who works for the IT department of the SEC and he said that they now have a message when you log in indicating that their activities are monitored.

I'm sure that's solved the problem.

VP is blocked here at DFAS (DOD finance agency of bloodsuckers).

It's a source of constant irritation.

I do find it funny that Roissy ISN'T blocked here, though.

I get that same message from my Texas, private sector company. Although, it's amazing how many companies miss the irony of paying for smartphones which employees can use to get around their company's web filters.

I'm not sure if VP or any associated site is blocked by my company's web filter. I haven't tried. I keep my cell phone at my desk and access VP through it. If I did go to a no no site it wouldn't be a big deal. The IT guy is my brother.

You have probably pissed off every liberal (female and some metrosexual "male") secretary in the nation. The truth hurts, even when you understand it but more when you don't. And they do have some power. Prudes, right until they go down on some guy for no reason they can understand... didn't even like the guy.

Way too funny. Blocking one of the sites that might help them figure it out. Heh...

Works at work for me - then again my netnanny is psycho - CH used to be blocked, but it's now readable again. Judgy Bitch remains blocked.

I don't trust using company devices to visit sites that are what I might call... anti-mainstream, unless I know they're not monitoring the device. I have my own personal untapped devices for that. I'm not risking having angry feminists in management trying to pin some sort of bogus sexual piggery charge against me.

@Bus_Stop
It's not irony. As a network admin, I don't care what ppl surf for on their company paid smartphone. I'd prefer they use their smartphones. I do have to worry what crosses the company network and web filters are crucial with that.

I can still get to Alpha Game Plan from work. I learned this week that Captain Capitalism is blocked at the DoD level, not at the service level that usually does the blocking.

You are not blocked where I live. marriedmansexlife is. I think the word did him in.

Oooh! How do I find out if I'm on the blocked list?

You people should be working instead of wasting my tax dollars reading about how to score with chicks.

Read Vox's blog on your own damned time!

@By The Sword,

Really? If I had my druthers, I would have every government employing doing anything but what they are being employed to do! Well, most of them. As they get older, I should try to get a heavy push on to get them bigger pad devices, so they can stay fully immersed in non-work as their eyes fail! Heck yeah.

my work filter allows me to read alpha game, roissy but not the HI libertarian or MMSL

very funny if you ask me

John Williams said...

MMSL is probably banned because it has the word "sex" in the title.

"for the tender, innocent, and easily influenced minds"

Or that AG is too much truth for the shallow, depraved and easily corrupted minds of the employees/citizens of the State of New York. Gotta keep that leftard "utopia" in that closed loop... you know because they are so "open minded".

This drives me nuts. Enforced groupthink. Also wanted to introduce myself here. I try to go by threealpha if i can, but I am a full blown INFJ Natural Sigma that up until about 2 years ago had no idea why I got so much attention and fear directed my way. Successful financially and personally, actually it comes subconsciously, but once I started in with CH and RM, and now hear... its kinda too easy. I leave out my contacts when I go out so I can only focus on the looks i get in my limited range.

I know we are rare, I have never met another like me except one, my dad. My honest take is that Sigma is introverted Alpha, but with the extra processing power afforded by our ability to see systems subtly react without input. Not thinking linearly, or even in parallel, but in a sphere. Couple that with intense emotions, and control of yourself becomes effortless control of others.

Any questions, just ask.
