A year in Alpha

I launched Alpha Game just over one year ago because I felt the topic of intersexual relations and their consequences for society and Western civilization merited its own focused blog.  Here's what has happened since:

Oct 2011: 26,916 visits and 42,573 pageviews
Oct 2012: 103,524 visits and 144,870 pageviews

Special thanks to Glenn Reynolds, Dr. Helen, Keoni Galt the Hawaiian Libertarian, Susan Walsh, Athol Kay, Rollo Tomassi, Dalrock, Badger, Roissy, and Roosh.  Most of the growth of AG's readership is due to those 10 individuals and the links to posts here that they have graciously provided to their own readers.

Already we're seeing ideas from the androsphere circulate out into the mainstream, both in the news and on television.  It's seldom credited, or Roissy would be a household name already, but the more important thing is that the ideas are gradually begin to transform society.  It's probably too late to save the West from fracture and collapse, as decades of equalitarianism and feminism have done irreparable damage to society and civilization alike.  But the seeds of societal revival have not only been planted, they are sprouting.

And sometimes, things have to get worse before they can begin to improve.

Grats, VD.

Your voice continues to emerge from the wilderness. If you're John the Baptist, must be one hell of a Jesus on the way...

Outstanding! VD, it's hard to believe it's only been a year. I consider you one of the leading voices in the Manosphere today, and your insights and contributions (particularly regarding the Socio-Sexual Hierarchy) have been (excuse the manly pun) seminal.

I think you are correct: there are seeds being planted. In the manner of seeds, some will sprout, some will fail, and some will take root where we least expect it . . . and cause untold havoc to the septic tank of society. I envision a Revolt of the Betas, who start to wise up to their own relative value in the SMP and start making far wiser choices in their mating strategies. That, and the temporary vasectomy, might be subtle changes, but so were the Birth Control Pill and divorce reform . . . and look where that got us.

Congratulations on your success, and let's anticipate a lot more. There's a rippling in the marketing Force that says there is a demographic ripe for the Red Pill. Let's make sure there's enough of it to go around.

Vox, the seeds you plant are sprouting - I've guided at least 3 married young men (mid 20's) to your blog, who are now regular readers. They are in better shape now to understand their place in their marriages. Hopefully they will stay married and be able to raise their own kids.

Anyway, this is a good time to ask you to consider addressing a huge group of us, who failed miserably at our first marriage, and have since remarried and soldiered on.

Dealing with STEP KIDS, and the mothers who mother them. The mother carries guilt - the kids exploit the guilt, the stepdad gets to deal with the drama and mop up the tears.

Of my 3 step kids, all have hit us up for "loans". All have said they would do things they don't do, leaving us holding a bag of #$#!. My wife has asked me to make enormous sacrifices for her kids, which I did for a few years, and then I stopped completely.

Pretty good kids, yet it is impossible for me to fall all over myself as my wife used to do, for kids and grandkids who do not carry my genes, in order to try to make accomodate them.

Only after years of struggle did I, out of sheer desperation, discover that hard truth and ultimatum was the answer. Since that time, no more loans, no more problems.

Anyway, there are millions of us, yet I haven't seen many posts on second marriages, & related issues.

Yeah, it would be good to go back in time and make the first one work...but...here is where we are.

Love your blog.

Hawaiian libertarian led me to all the other manopshere websites...considering that I hate both political parties.

It's been a great ride these last few months. I've improved more in this time than it took me to improve in the last 5 years.

WOW!

A page visit and pageviews growth of almost 4x in just 365 days. Kudos!

And now that I think about it...other websites debunking feminism and how it's leading to all the economic problems we are seeing also led the way.

I would say congrats but SAYING NICE THINGS IS BETA.

Congrats Vox and thank you for this site.

Just two days ago my son and I were talking about a post here and he said, "I can't believe what a little dork I used to be, it's so embarrassing." At 15 I think he may be too hard on himself but this has been a fantastic resource for him. Your commitment to it is very much appreciated!

Critics (ie feminists) despise Game because it works - every time. The Socio-Sexual Hierarchy is absolutely sound and as predictable as the outcome of a nature-channel segment showing a zebra wondering into a lion's den. It will never be mainstream due to its insensitivity and total disregard for political correctness but there's no better way to improve one's social standing than by understanding how Game works.

Political Correctness is a pernicious fantasy, but is certainly no stronger than Stalinism. It can't continue forever, but the truth can, and the hierarchy is an observable truth - in fact, it was one that in somewhat different stylistic form, was widely recognized in society.

I see no reason why such recognition couldn't return during the weaving back of the tattered ends.

Congratulations, Vox, you've added many important ideas to the debate in just a year! I could have sworn you'd been writing Alpha Game at least twice that long. I'm happy to celebrate your growing traffic and influence.

Congratulations and thank YOU.

In one year, AlphaGame has become one of my top 3 referrer's as well, right up there with Heartiste, Dalrock & The Spearhead.

I've been a Vox Popoli daily reader for over a decade, and that blog was basically my very first dose of the "red pill."

Hell yeah. Hell yeah.

Had fun subtly using some Game principals today in our staff meeting.

Requires careful application with career feminist harpies in higher positions, however. Especially with a VP of Human Resources sitting in on the meeting.

Congrats...I'm a fairly new regular reader, but this blog has quickly become one of my top reads on intergender dynamics
