Even the comics

Having successfully taken over SF/F and set their targets on electronic gaming, it appears the feminist Social Justice Warriors have already conquered Comic Land:
Readers might be able to deal with Spider-Man repeatedly getting saved by a brand new hero in his own book if, as Peter Parker, there were sufficient character development. One would think that the six months after Peter Parker essentially returned from the dead would warrant considerable time for soul-searching introspection between action sequences. Instead, Peter Parker goes about his life as if nothing of much significance has happened; he has an “I sorta-kinda died — moving on,” mentality. Meanwhile, Silk comes to his aid, Black Cat embarrasses him, and Anna Maria Marconi runs his company.
Hey, what young nerd doesn't want to read all about The Sensational Silk and her strong, independent womanhood? It's not like he could be expected to identify with Peter Parker, after all.

The fact that the SJWs are gunning for the comics proves that they will leave no male bastion untouched.

I knew that that was the case when Thorina came about.

(hey there supposed to be a link somewhere, Vox?)

Thorina... meh, it happens all the time in comics (I mean when you've had Thog...) what makes this worse is that the main hero is still around instead of taking a 10 minute retirement.

The SJWs took over comic books years ago.

In some ways its their ideal medium. They are in an industry where they aren't worried about making a profit because they won't and their corporate overlords don't mind in the least. Comic books exist only to exercise copyright and trademarks. If you are an SJW...SCORE!! You have job where no one expects anything from you.

Really when you look at American comics, its just a bunch of luchadores and melodrama. But it's an NYC based industry so everyone connected with it has to chest puff about how progressive it all is. The problem is that comic book liberals still get beaten up all the time for being sexist.

Here is their latest sin: Ass of the Spider Woman.

Comics were created in the 1930s when the Grecian-heroic nude was making a big revival pretty much everywhere in the art world from Moscow to Berlin to New York City. In comics the heroic nudes were sprayed painted in Dazzle Camouflage and dumped into 1930s gym trunks, which is why they all wore belts.

The modified heroic nude was established as the traditional representative art for the American superhero. The PC problems began when that tradition was carried over to the superheroines.

This almost makes it sound as if the US comic book industry was started by a bunch of neo-pagan Aryans.

Comics were created in the 1930s...

By whom, exactly?

SJWs attacking comics is a case of the revolution devouring its own.

Only because they are male bastions. Subversion and perversion has its own reward. A wise woman builds her house, a foolish one tears it down WITH HER OWN HANDS.

As long as young men (the primary marketplace) continue shelling out money for comics about a sissified, sensitive Spiderman, I guess the social justice warriors will have their way. If and when they stop buying and the comic publishers start losing big money, they'll figure a way to re-masculinize him

Actually its men in early middle age at this point. Gen X appears to be the last generation to have caught the comics bug. Millennials never picked up the habit in any serious way.

All the proof you need of the inherent desire of feminists to destroy men is being compiled by RSM.

The castration of Thor was more than just comics as usual. It was a direct shot at honor, courage, strength etc as masculine virtues.

I still say that an online title, paid for by ad revenue, written from a conservative/realist POV would make those involved rich. The bonus would be watching the old gatekeepers wail & cry X-ist while losing to it like ABCNNBCBS does to FOX.

All in all, it's probably a good development. Men, contrary to the ironic claim of feminists that men like to boss other people around, tend not to care very much about intruding in other people's lives and thoughts. So, men have generally retreated to their safe spots: games, comics, sports, etc., rather than get involved in some bitchy drama with irrational chicks elsewhere. But now that the feminists have made it clear that men will not be allowed a moment's peace anywhere, the hammer will finally come down on them. Because, as we all know, a man's highest pleasure is to be left in peace, and to simply enjoy life with a simple, quiet dignity. If women make it clear that they are going to come into the woodshop to nag and bitch at us about transphobia, I think we will finally demonstrate that we are ready to give them an up-close demonstration of how the power tools work. Women have been emboldened by the ease with which they marched through male institutions thus far - because men, generally wanting to be left alone, simply went whither they could be left alone. Now that it's rapidly becoming the case that there's nowhere left to go, I think women will be surprised by the devastating force and breezy ease with which men dispatch their female network of bothersome intrusion.

female thor. Hawkwoman.
Gay characters galore.
insertions of Obama and Clinton everywhere possible to make a positive impact, Republican politicians generally ignored or displayed as the villains.

The progressive mindset is RELENTLESSLY pushed in comics, even the Batman movies had evil capitalists.
Bruce Wayne's father somehow built a huge and successful corporation, yet almost went broke trying to revitalize downtown Gotham (per the movie dialogue).
The evil CEO who took over somehow rebuilt the financial empire but ruthlessly cut out the magic negro and the shiftless heir, and got his comeuppance. Glossed over is how Wayne Enterprises were rebuilt from near bankruptcy.

I will grant them that they clearly showed that if Wayne Enterprises loses money, then the charitable causes that Bruce wants to support will suffer as well.

But most comic books are gamma, omega, and communist pipe-dreams sold to children with a cover story that appeals to red-blooded males (fighting, sacrifice, justice, hot looking women)

I don't think I've bought a new regular-run comic since the cover price was 75 cents. I've bought graphic novels though, mainly Alan Moore's work, as well as _Harlem Hellfighters_ more recently.

A couple of Jewish guys named Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Although it might be more accurate to say, blatantly plagiarized rather created. If you are curious look up Phillip Wylie's Gladiator and Norvell Page's The Spider.

There was almost nothing original in Superman's origin.

Gramsci's long march is almost complete. Leftists are clearly running out of cultural targets for conversion and baptism into The Cathedral.

As an aside, a nation whose women have time to complain about comics and video games probably isn't one in which they're being abused, raped and beaten in great numbers... just saying.

It's 2014. The left is The Man, and the traditionalist right is the counterculture now.

@Madeline,

I didn't know that about comic books and Gen-X guys. Well even better: comics will be doomed even quicker than I thought. And they are killing themselves. Much like the NFL they are trying to cater to a demographic (white, upperclass feminists) who will never spend money on them.

Oops - make that Cataline.

Thank god. What little value there ever was in the whole concept of "super heroes" with "super powers" [lesson -- all of humanity can't do SHIT about the slightest problem ... only someone with unearthly powers can save them] can get anything done... everyone else are just mindless animals in human form:

Wikipedia Stan Lee:
Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber, December 28, 1922) is an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, media producer, television host, actor, voice actor and former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.

In collaboration with several artists, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created Spider-Man, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor, the X-Men, and many other fictional characters, introducing complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. In addition, he headed the first major successful challenge to the industry's censorship organization, the Comics Code Authority, and forced it to reform its policies. Lee subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation.

He was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995.

Stanley Martin Lieber was born in New York City on December 28, 1922,[1] in the apartment of his Romanian-born Jewish immigrant parents

Wikipedia Will Eisner:

Family background
Eisner's father Shmuel "Samuel" Eisner was born March 6, 1886, in Kolomyia, Austria-Hungary, and was one of eleven children. He aspired to be an artist, and as a teenager painted murals for rich patrons and Catholic churches in Vienna. To avoid conscription in the army, he moved to New York before the outbreak of World War I.[2] There he found getting work difficult as his English skills were poor.[3] He made what living he could painting backdrops for vaudeville and the Jewish theater.[4]

Eisner's mother, Fannie Ingber, was born to Jewish parents from Romania April 25, 1891, on a ship bound for the US. Her mother died on her tenth birthday, and was quickly followed by her father. An older stepsister thereafter raised her and kept her so busy with chores that she had little time for socializing or schooling; she did what she could later in life to keep knowledge of her illiteracy from her children.[4]

Family introduced Shmul and Fannie, who were distant relatives.[5] They had three children: son Will Erwin, born on his father's birthday in 1917; son Julian, born February 3, 1921; and daughter Rhoda, born November 2, 1929.[6]

Early life

Eisner was born in Brooklyn, New York City. He grew up poor, and the family moved frequently.[6] Young Eisner often got into physical confrontations when subject to antisemitism from his schoolmates.[7] His family were not orthodox followers of Judaism; Eisner himself, while he prided his cultural background, turned against the religion when his family was denied entry to a synagogue over lack of money for admission.[8]

Hmmm... I wonder, WHO ARE CHARACTERS WITH THE "SUPERPOWERS" SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT?

And the European Jews get super-pissed that the Nazis stole that meme from them.

The ultimate example of which is... video games... and look at the TREMENDOUS (as in company-destroying) backlash Chelsea Van Valkenburg (alias Zoe Quinn) and Anna Saaaaaaaaaracasmian have caused.

Guys just want to play their video games in peace.. and these two cunts...and their personal army... have made it clear that they will NOT let men just play their games in peace. This is why we now know that Zoe Quinn is an alias. This is why we now know that Saaaarcasmian has taken over $150,000 for barely 15 hours of youtube video output 95+% of which is just her talking on camera, and video-game clips taken from OTHER youtube people... basically, all except for when SHE (and only she) is killing strippers and dragging their bodies around int Grand Theft Auto).... now her detractors are laughing at her supporters for paying $10,000/hour for almost worthless youtube video.

Hound a man all you want..but once he's retreated to a cave, and you still won't leave him alone, expect to find yourself not just knee-capped, but de-legged.

The first X-Men movie makes it explicit, opening with a flashback of a kid howling as his mother is dragged off by Nazis, and then having him give "never again" speeches as an adult about how he's "seen this before" and won't let the "humans" put "mutants" "in chains with a number burned into your forehead." Just in case you might have missed the parallel.
