That's not funny!

Salesforce made the mistake of hiring a comedian to entertain its employees, but thankfully, a female VP quickly leaned in and informed them what was, and what was not, funny.
Salesforce chief executive Marc Benioff has been known to hobnob with celebrities—the company has brought in luminaries like Stevie Wonder, U2, and Will.i.am for its annual Dreamforce customer event. So it's probably not a huge shock that comedian Chris Rock made a surprise appearance at the company's annual sales kickoff last week.

Rock's humor can be controversial, so in his introduction, Benioff cautioned that the upcoming set might be racier than the company's normal fare and that those who might be offended might want to leave early, according to sources, one of whom was at the employees-only event.

Then Rock took the stage. For the most part the set, which capped the first day's events, was a hit. But some of Rock's material, referencing his own recent divorce and women marrying wealthy men, rubbed some in the room the wrong way.

Most notably, those remarks apparently did not sit well with Stephanie Buscemi, Salesforce's executive vice president of products and solutions marketing, who stood up, requested the microphone, and talked about how offended she was by these comments.
Presumably those responsible will be appropriately punished by losing their jobs and being publicly shamed. So brave. Thank you for this.

Salesforce quite emphatically has virtue-signaled on a level with Disney. I would love to see them get shredded over this.

And Chris said..."Fellas, when you wake up in the morning, you should look yourself in the mirror and say, "FUCK YOU! Fuck your hopes, fuck your dreams, fuck your plans … fuck everything you thought this life was going to bring to you. Now let's go out there and try to make this bitch happy."

The fun police strike again to make sure everyone stays as miserable as them. If Salesforce is smart they'd immediately get rid of the woman who complained and anyone who supported her.

My company brought in Joan Rivers as a surprise guest speaker at a corporate event that had both employees and customers from around the globe. Her speech was funny and interesting. But, it was about 5 seconds before her first f-bomb. I think that was the last speaker the CEO was allowed to pick before she was pushed out.

Does she have any idea how risky that was? Any working club comic has the ability to just verbally demolish just about anyone after dealing with drunks and hecklers. Especially any Boston comic who dealt with their especially difficult brand of audience. And then comics like Bill Burr, Nick DiPaolo, Jim Norton, Bob Kelly made sport of ruthlessly attacking one another just for fun while they were hanging out at the Store. Rock should not only Not be attacked for giving offense, he should be commended for it just attacking her and reducing her to tears.

How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb?

1) That's not funny!
2) One, dammit!

These people must be utterly miserable, going through life entirely without humor.

The CEO could have made his people happy by firing her on the spot, though it would have cost the company twenty million dollars.

It is a mistake to think they go through life miserable, never finding humor in anything. The problem is much worse: they find humor in terrible things, like white men losing their jobs, Trump supporters getting beat up, and Lena Dunham.

I think she looks like a big ol' buttload of fun, but I'm not the greatest judge on these things: "the audience sat in awkward silence for what seemed to be a long time."

@Tatooine

I was expecting Steven Buscemi in drag.

Better looking than I expected, although women lie with photos all the time, and she does remind me of Nikki Haley somehow.

Judging from her Facebook, this is one of those trophy wives who married money and has a job in "sales," so she thinks she runs the world. They also have a daughter, which I'm finding is a quick road to SJW-ism, because "Save our girls!"

When I worked for a chain of community newspapers in a wealthy DC suburb, we had so many of these types at community meetings that my old editor came up with a phrase to describe them: "Bimbos turned activists."

"I married for money and I'll be damned if I'm going to sit here and listen to you not just acknowledge, but belittle the tactic."

"No longer the up-and-comer, Buscemi now invests as much of her time on the next generation of leaders as she does in building her customer base and team. An avid believer that women deserve role models and advocates in the tech industry, she is active in the Salesforce WomenSurge programme, where women are actively placed front and centre to contribute to development and strategy."

FFS.. if Chris Rock had shot her dead on the spot, I would have voted "Not Guilty" on the jury.

The stupid bitch just gave Chris a whole new show's worth of free, fresh material. Let's hope he exploits it for all it's worth.

Chris Rock is black. Doesn't Buscemi have to check her privilege, or something?

If I were Chris Rock, I would have taken my own advice.

How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb?

Two: one to change the bulb and the other to suck my dick.

One hopes Chris Rock learned his lesson and will refrain from offending all women in the future.

How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb?

A: 12- 11 to discuss alternate energy sources and matriarchal dynamics within theoretical labor systems and 1 to fetch a man.

After seeing what a progressive virtue signaler Marc Benioff is, I hope the fat asshat loses his job. It would be poetic justice
