Equality is the primarily problem

Return of Kings lists eight factors driving wedges into male-female relationships and correctly identifies the primary problem:
“Equality” for women is the most abominable lie to have ever perpetuated on mankind.

Men have always provided for women. Men hunted for food, labored to build everything, and fought battles to defend their tribe. To say that men oppressed women throughout history is an insult to all those who sacrificed themselves in the factories, the coal mines, and the trenches. If women didn’t have certain rights that feminists like to cherry-pick, it’s because women weren’t drafted to fight wars. In exchange for their toil, the only thing men asked of women was to be supportive in their roles as wives and mothers.

But fast-forward to today, now that women have “achieved” social and political “equality” and even various advantages just for being born a female, many women today no longer feel that it’s necessary to exchange values with men for mutuality. It’s like when humans developed automobiles and didn’t need horses anymore. The difference is, humans and horses don’t need to be together; men and women do.

However, men’s sexual desire—which is greater than that of females—is still alive and kicking. So what we have today is a situation where women have gotten their social equality while sexual inequality persists for men (which is why many men choose to give up sex entirely to level the playing field). This is what happens when you standardize human beings into economic units.
Martin van Creveld, the Israeli military historian, has written extensively on the development of the concept of equality, which he labels "the Impossible Quest". It's an excellent, well-researched book and it illustrates the fundamental impossibility of ever achieving anything that is even a reasonable approximation.

The histories of justice and liberty have often been written. Not so that of equality, which, so far has failed to find its proper biographer. There seems to be no equivalent to Plato's On Justice (better known as The Republic) or to John Stuart Mill’s On Liberty. That is strange, for equality is quite as important as the other two. Never has this been more true than in our own day. On one hand, we are inundated by volumes that warn us of the dangers of growing socio-economic gaps and by movements that protest against those gaps.[1] On the other, equality’s opposite, discrimination, has not only become taboo but is being used as a lever for all kinds of social reforms, credible and incredible alike.

In fact, so closely linked are the three concepts as to be inseparable. Where there is no equality there can be neither justice nor liberty. On the other hand, equality itself is not without its dangers. Should it be pushed too far, it can easily reach the point where it limits, or even eliminates, both liberty and justice

Equality is non-existent, an imaginary non-entity.

The virtue of Justice has within it to treat similar things similarly, equal things equally (think objects, not persons), but different things differently, giving each what they deserve.

The shell game was to replace justice with it's broken off part, "equality" - where different treatments happened happened in the same circumstances, especially in government itself. Justice is hard and complex - like Liberty itself.

Equality divorced from its roots in Justice is easier to measure and enforce, but only by chopping down the tall, weakening the strong, and dumbing down the smart. But that is a worse injustice. The severed branch always rots.

"Equality" was a demand created by a few mentally unbalanced women in the fifties.

As well as men who actually did know better.

Take one of the great female equalists, Robert A. Heinlein. While an equalist himself during the fifties, he wrote some of the most spot on and Game aware material out there. The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathon Hoag is a prime example.

There were others Richard Feynman was noted physicist, Communist and PUA par excellence. His notebook on that last subject is well worth reading by students of Game.

I still can't work out why they did it.

An ideal that reality could not live up to, is as close as I can get, yet I am certain I'm not getting the whole thing.

Time to read Van Crevald again.

Saying something is "equal" only makes sense if the two things are the same. It's stupid to say a women is equal to a man. Because in being the same as a man, she becomes less of a women. Sexual equality doesn't lift anyone one up, it degrades both the men and the women.

A women who is the same as a man loses her value. She ceases to be unique. She is a man with boobs and heightened emotional sensitivity. We don't need anymore of those around.

Nonsense. In God's Kingdom there is both justice and liberty, but no equality. Equality is an artifice, a tool of politics; it arrives pure and direct from satan, and has no value outside satan's purposes.

Equalism is collectivism is leftism, and Equality is now so accepted (even by those considering themselves conservatives) that its fundamental totalitarianism and uselessness is not even questioned. We accept it as our Center.

Any nation or individual not having God at center must create an abstraction to fill the spiritual, moral and ethical void. The Enlightenment sold the West the abstraction of Equality to substitute as our Guiding Light. As we've witnessed, Equality can be made to cover for any iniquity or malevolence, shaped into any convenient form, whereas with God and Scripture, our obedience is required and the rules cannot be constantly changed.

Equality is the means by which the inferior can dominate their betters (hello B.O.!) while the inferior simultaneously maintaining a veneer of virtuous progress. Love wins.

Creveld is wrong. Where there is equality there can be no justice or liberty. The intervention required to equalize fundamentally unequal men is both unjust and restricts liberty. The same rule for the lion and the ox is oppression.

Equality is the opposite of quality

Equality is Envy: A man abler than his brothers insults them by implication. He must not aspire to any virtue which cannot be shared' (The fountainhead)

I still can't work out why they did it.

Because a man who is good with women thrives in the current environment. They're indulging in a large population of young women would would have been married in more civilized times. The people getting screwed by modern social dynamics are the 80% beta schlubs who would have been perfectly happy to shuffle off to a cubicle every day in support of a young wife and children, but who are now faced with the choice of going it alone or marrying a mid-30s woman who spent her twenties with (dozens of) the Feinmans of the world.

They say it's impossible to get a man to see something if his job depends on not seeing it. The same is true with sex and men who "should have known better".

Or maybe they knew and didn't care.

Does Crevekd cite von Kuehnelt-Leddihn? Liberty or Equality is well worth reading.

Post-war it was spearheaded by: Bored, unsatisfied (and mostly Jewish) housewives who were often paranoid about their husbands cheating on them - which is sometimes true, the ''boss screwing his secretary'' stereotype doesn't exist for nothing after all. Who had (mostly magazine) writing gigs to vent their frustrations into.
Now add to that entertainment producers pushing ''equality'' due to their own hedonistic (drug use, their own wild and unfaithful sex lives) lifestyles and you had the recipe for the disaster we see today.
Sports more than anything else put the lie to ''equality of the sexes'' from the fraud that was ''the battle of the sexes'' to Women's golf, to the boring, unsuccessful WNBA - that only exists due to being funded and promoted by the NBA.

Ever heard of MGTOW? Who prefer entertainment and the commercialized sex industry to the minefield we see today.

I blame it all on commercial culture. I don't know what is symptom and what is cause, however.

Socionomics would say it's all symptoms of endogenously regulated social mood, but that's of limited use (and unsatisfying.)
