To raise your socio-sexual status

Do precisely the opposite of the advice given by Pamela Clark:
30. Inject feminism into your daily conversations with other men.

If your father doesn’t do his fair share of housework, talk to him about why this is important. If your friend cheats on his girlfriend or speaks negatively about her, talk to him candidly about respecting individual women with whom he is intimate is part of having respect for women in general. Have conversations with your younger brothers and sons about sexual consent.

31. If you have a tendency to behave inappropriately toward women when you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, do not consume drugs or alcohol.

32. Be aware of the physical and emotional space you occupy, and don’t take up more space than you need.

Use your fair share of “air space” in conversations, give as much to relationships as you take, don’t sit with your legs splayed so that other people can’t comfortably sit next to you, etc.

33. Walk the walk about income inequality.

Women still earn about 77% as much as men. If you are in a position where you are financially able to do so, consider donating a symbolic 23% of your income to social justice-oriented causes. If 23% sounds like a lot to you, that’s because it is a lot and it’s also a lot for women who don’t have a choice whether to forfeit this amount or not.

34. Get in the habit of treating your maleness as an unearned privilege that you have to actively work to cede rather than femaleness being an unearned disadvantage that women have to work to overcome.

35. Self-identify as a feminist.

Speak about feminism as a natural, normal, uncontentious belief, because it should be. Don’t hedge and use terms like “humanist” or “feminist ally” that reinforce the idea that the F-word itself is a scary word.
As a general rule, whenever you hear advice from women on how to treat them, do the precise opposite. It will almost always prove to be much more attractive to them. You must always keep in mind that women are anti-pygmalionic. They do not want the men in their lives to become more attractive to other women, because that threatens the reduction of their options as well as their influence over those men.

She missed a few - Slam your head into the wall repeatedly. Shoot yourself in both feet.

Let my son talk to me about how I need to do more around the house. That is a good one.

I already donate more than 23%. Through taxes.

Seen a few Susan B. Anthony posts today...

Is it bad that I thought this was advice for women?

I like number 30. "Become a monomaniacal scold" is always a big hit at parties.

what an awful website that is. & the terrible advice. it should be titled "how to remain forever alone" this will alienate your male friends & make sure girls see you as a eunuch.

I'll give up 23% of my income to make things more equal with women as soon as women give up custody of children half the time, donate enough of their alimony and child support to be equal with men, volunteer to star in prison as long as a man would, and give up the 7 extra years of life expectancy they have.

31. Don't yell "Get a Job" at bums on the sidewalk.

26. Find female mentors/leaders. (i.e., Be subordinate to women.)

If you are seeking a mentor, or want to volunteer with an organization, go with a woman, or woman-led organization. Know that there’s a lot you can learn from women in positions of authority.

I like this one.

It's amusing to watch women go to work and demand to make as much as men, then go home and demand their husbands make more than them.

Natalie said...

Even God only asks for 10%. On the other hand, if you really want a man's paycheck consider becoming a stay at home mom. When you consider that I get to sit around and read books while our son nurses it's a pretty sweet deal with some pretty sweet perks :)

@Natalie

According to feminists, your job is harder and when he gets home it is his turn. They're preparing a muzzle for you as i type.

She could have just said "Compliance is sexy" and saved herself a few thousand words. That's pretty much what every blue pill article boils down to anyway.

It is true actually. Little of what you learn will be positive, but you can always learn from negative examples. I've had a couple of female bosses. Liked them both as people, but also observed most of the negatives possible between the two of them.

It's this sort of shit that makes me ANGRY. The rest of the tripe I can just ignore, but "work to cede my maleness", and that it is "unearned". FUCK OFF. grrr. Must remember, stupid bitch is just trolling..

Kind of proud I shot down the doctor in .01 seconds when he asked if I wanted the HPV vaccine.

Most of this sounds like jibberish... So easy not to do it.

Rek. said...

@ Aleander Thompson. Why did you refuse to get vaccinated?

"Genital HPV types may be "high-risk" types (such as HPV types 16 and 18) that have been shown to cause some forms of cancers, or "low-risk" types (such as HPV types 6 and 11) that can cause genital warts." "In males: genital warts and some anal cancers."

Rek. said...

@ BOB

Point 34 is like saying to a hot girl: "You should downplay your hottness because you are really intimidating to guys and ugly or fat girls. Do the world a favor and don't act so entitled. Stop being such bitches just because you won the genetic lottery on the looks department. As a matter of fact why don't all women stop acting so entitled."

Here entire "message" is completely ludicrous.

Feminism is for ugly women.

Wow, that sounds... oh, what's the word...it's on the tip of my tongue...misogynist!

Feminists sure have a low opinion of women, don't they?

Were it not for the sad fact that, as we read this pile of crap, thirsty pussybeggars are lapping it up like mother's milk and eagerly awaiting the chance to put it into practice, it would be slapstick comical.

Rarely have I seen such a tightly-packed concentration of bullshit. If it were anymore dense it might collapse into a black hole, which would mercifully do us the favor of sucking Pamela Clark back into the wretched void from whence she waddled forth.

The correct response to verbal defecations of this sort is "once you start actually doing that additional 23% of the work that needs to get done, the work that your MALE coworkers are doing for you while you're trying to be HaveItAllMomandEmpoweredCorporateWoman[TM], but dropping balls left and right in the process, THEN --MAYBE-- you'll get that 23% back."

Natalie said...

@Trust - my job is harder in some ways and easier in others. For instance - I do nearly all the night parenting. So when my husband is off work he does help out and take the boy off my hands. On the other hand we're also talking about him getting to hang out with and play with his infant son who absolutely adores him and thinks his daddy hung the moon and the stars. It's not like I just hand my husband a screaming infant and say "deal" while I hang out on Facebook and paint my nails. They play in interact and seem to have a lot of fun together, and that gives me a chance to cook dinner, take a shower, or type an e-mail with two hands :)

From her twitter description:

PhD student in Political Theory, researching civility. I like 20thC and feminist theory, riding my bike, & gardening. I want things to be better than they are

The fish needs a bicycle, but complains the wheels are round.

But really, you have to keep in mind, she has no clue what actually works for anyone. She's dumb enough to get a PhD in a worthless field. She's also dumb enough to think 35 bulletpoints of nagging, scolding and belittling her supposed audience qualifies as "civility."

Pamela Clark is a net negative to the human race.

Stg58/Animal Mother said...

She is definitely an expert on the world. Look at all she has accomplished.

I asked a question on the page, "What if I don't want to support feminism?" It isn't there any more.

Anonymous said...

To be fair, she doesn't claim that any of this will attract women, just that it will support feminism. Can't disagree with that.

I am a woman.
I hope that men do not follow this advice.
I need to look up to and admire a man in order to find him desirable.
I want to be under a man's arm of protection and self-mastery.
I do not want a man to kneel at my feet like a dog who has had his spirit broken.

Bob Loblaw said...

It would be impossible to take this woman seriously even if her list wasn't laughable. She's a PhD student in "Political Theory", avoiding all real-life experience in favor of academia.

A woman I knew in high school dropped out at 16 to take care of her ailing mother (who died about 18 months later), then went to work full time until she got married and had a child in her early twenties. There was a woman who could easily have dispensed more useful advice by 17 than this child at whatever age she is... thirty or so?

An understanding of the origin of words such as lunacy and hysteria suggests that all of this is predictable and has been foretold. The worst has yet to come.

With a slight alteration, number 4 is good advice:

4. Give feminists space.

As much as possible.

How can a woman be both equal to men a nd yet a perpetual victim of men? They don't even try to reconcile the contradiction.

Doom said...

If... you insist. But it so goes against every grain of my romantic manliness.

Oh we, me and my bugs, laughed, we cried, we had a hoot, now I'm thinking about a toot. Tickled to the bone by how women think and the notion that might actually mean something to anyone. I know she doesn't work that way. If her man does, he won't be her man for long, or her only man. Never listen to a woman, or a politician, see what they do. Then hang them, if they aren't otherwise useful.

I do know, if women weren't attractive, and needed for the propagation of the species, they would be extinct. Hunted to a red cunt hair, with pleasure. I'd keep cats, their one gift. Probably wasn't theirs though, actually. Never mind. Chuckling and thinking about raising a scotch to what women are good for.

Women can be funny, it just never happens when they actually try. It's when they are serus!

And here Vox was pointing out a few months ago that there are very few funny female comediennes.

Actually 9 is the only one that makes sense. You eliminate a disease by getting the whole herd vaccinated.

The rest, well I forwarded it to my sons with the comment how to be lonely and celibate forever.

It strikes me that as she encourages men to insert themselves to stop anti-feminist bigotry (or whatever), she is more or less encouraging a return to chivalry. She admits that men and women are different

Now of course, she ignores the obvious implications of this, but let's give her credit. When she's not careful, she admits the obvious.

Regarding HPV vaccines, I'm not up on the risks, but the reward if it does work is that you don't get certain strains of the virus. Given something like 90% of brides and grooms get there without their virginity or even an N of 1 or lower, I've got to suggest people consider it. Herd immunity is a beautiful thing.

I don't know any woman that requires men to do this. Where these instructions come from must be a very narrow segment of the population. It is a bizarre ritual. It's almost like a religion. She should rebutted at every point, but that's taking up more effort than anyone should bother.
