A Day Without A Woman

Women's March organizes a protest:
Organizers of January's Women's March have called for women to take the day off and encouraged them not to spend money to show their economic strength and impact on American society.

"A Day Without a Woman" on Wednesday is the first major action by organizers since the nationwide marches held the day after President Donald Trump's inauguration that drew millions of women into the streets in protest against misogyny, inequality and oppression. Though it is unclear how many women could participate, thousands across the country have signaled their support and interest online and to employers.

The event coincides with the U.N.-designated International Women's Day, and organizers say they want to "stand with women around the globe" who supported their efforts Jan. 21 with similar protests in cities around the world.

Spokeswoman Cassady Findlay said organizers were inspired by the recent "Day Without an Immigrant" protests held last month. She said the action is aimed at highlighting the effect of women on the country's socio-economic system and would demonstrate how the paid and unpaid work of women keeps households, communities and economies running.
I will be counterprotesting today by playing Star Control 2, Eador: Genesis, and later, watching a soccer match.

Stay strong, my brothers.

OT: I thought this may be of interest to you. It is a re-enactment of one of the debates between Trump and Hillary except a female is playing the role of Trump and the male is playing the role of Hillary. The participants are actors reciting transcripts of the debate and mimicking the mannerisms of Trump and Hillary.

My day without an immigrant went as expected: zero disruption to my daily routine.

Without women? Well, I don't know. Probably zero disruption. An immigrant or man would step in and fill the gap.

And for Heavens sake people know women wield economic power, hence magazines and advertisements and endless made in China junk.

Whom do they hope to fool?

Let's hope for the silent treatment.

My brothers, they've just basically proven they are unnecessary to the functioning of society. From this day forward, we will use this day as proof that women do not belong in the workplace and should not be allowed access to credit cards.

Been rereading the Little House on the Prairie books. I'm impressed all over again by how hard these women worked and their ingenuity during hard times.

They'd be appalled at this.

Being a MGTOW ghost monk, my life is a counter-protest on a daily basis. I give them exactly what they say they want. They say they can do it all and I let them.

I never "creep" one out. I treat them like inanimate objects in the landscape. I keep my dick in my pants, my wallet in my pocket, and my mouth shut. This way I do not expose myself to the violence by proxy of police state (I already have first hand experience) so beloved by females.

In one way, I guess you could say I am a feminist. They propose going on strike for one day. I'm on strike 365 and have never been happier and more at peace. So, yes, feminism has been good for me - it has liberated me from the female plantation system.

Once you go MGTOW you can't go back. Why would you want to? Cheers.

Would these organizers be husbands, by any chance?

None of the immigrants I work with skipped work, because they came here for money in the first place. But, one guy went home to Guatemala when Trump was elected.

Granted, a day without an immigrant was a bust because mostly, these immigrants have to work. And considering they get paid peanuts, they can't afford to miss work, unlike these women.

I wonder how many weeks ago the network's go to economists had their, "Women not spending money today had a SIGNIFICANT impact on the American economy it will take a while to recover from" statements written up and ready to go?

you know, when i first heard the term "A day without a woman", i thought it was some kind of a MGTOW op, a sarcastic take on International Women's Day.

i suggest that, the day after, that you thank all the women in your life for giving you one single day of respite from all the tedious, useless drama that you normally experience.

Obviously another lame Soros-funded ploy: a real such operation organized by women would never tell you what they're protesting.

"What's the problem?"
"Nothing."
"Seriously, what's the matter?"
"If you loved me, you'd already know.

And more work will get done in one day in an estrogen-free workplace than has been done in an estrogen-filled one in the last 50 years.

The precious snowlakes at my office joined together in solidarity to go out to lunch together and spend cash stuffing their mugs with corporate eats. So progressive. None bailed out for the day because they too fugly to lose their jobs
