Equality in action

From a Calvin Harris concert. Can you feel the feminist outrage yet? Yeah, I didn't think so. Feminists only call for equality when they feel women are getting the short end of the stick.

I'm triggered because there's no third option for intersexed people like me! What about MY needs?!?!

I would be inclined to buy a female ticket, show up, and demand entry as I "currently identify as a female".

Spence, my man, I think some guys are already planning it.

Well, I guess I'm going female this time. Who would dare to discriminate against me??????

I do not know who the hell he is. But my guess is he runs sort of dance based concerts. The way it is in that sort of show. Girls you need them, they draw the men. And the men spend the money. There are successful clubs that let the girls in for free, for that very reason.

Odd that you hear no complaints about that injustice. Even the men (who have jobs) don't complain, no one likes a sausage party

Must be for gammas, as I don't see even betas shelling out for this rip off.

@Matamoros Its more of a young and clueless thing. As an 18 year old I was all over getting into clubs that had a lot of girls in them because they let them in cheap or free. Latter I figured out that the girls in these places were not of the best sort. A lot of them were just scamming young and stupid guys into paying for their night. I did not need to be working the top end clubs (and going broke) to be finding the top end girls. Lower level guys are milked dry at these events.

Holy hell, is that a normal ticket price? I wouldn't pay that to meet Shakespeare.

He's better known as Mr. Taylor Swift, so you can imagine what kind of audience he has...

Illegal in California (but not always enforced.)

It's like Bill Burr said, feminists just want to cherry pick the good sh_t of being a man.

@Verne @Matamoros

Yeah, I can imagine that girls go to places with male-only covers/surcharges not to meet attractive men but to go out with their girlfriends and drink for cheap/free via Beta Bux. I don't go to that type of scene as a rule. You automatically stigmatize yourself by doing so: every girl there knows full well you paid extra to get in. (Also, I have a major cheap streak.)

Things like Ladies' Nites (where there's no cover but women get discounts at the bar or whatever) aren't quite as bad, as there are obvious workarounds. Paying through the nose to even get in the place because you have a penis is not recommended, unless you're a rich Alpha.

Million examples: Ladies night, maternity leave, selective service, the whole concept of chivalry, paying for dates, the divorce courts, on the job accidents, life expectancy, abortion laws, etc. etc. etc.

Women don't complain about being charged less. They cry when they are charged more. California will expect all items to be gender neutral and insist women's products be charged the same as men's products. Who's keeping track when men's products cost more than women's products. I will never pay to see Calvin Harris at any price.

Thanks for that amazing insight, Timmy...

As for women being charged more, the only situations I can think of where that happens are with clothing, shoes, and other high-value female vanity items. As with anything else, the laws of supply and demand come into play...and the sometimes more expensive prices certainly don't stop women from buying a shit ton of clothing and shoes to be stylish, or getting men to finance for them. It's women's insatiable need for more, and their competition with other bitches, that drives the majority of our consumer economy.

Amazing insight Sir. I'm glad its free.

Timmy, when even your sarcasm is just a repetition of something someone in the thread already said, maybe...oh wait, you're probably ESL. Never mind...best wishes in your continued learning of conversational English.

In most cases women buy these items because they cost more. These are Veblen goods, and the only way they're ever going to be reasonably priced is if women stop using them for status competition. That is, never.

Sir: There are some double posts in this thread yet you're picking on me. For someone that claims to have better English, can't you write a complete sentence?

Timmy3 said...

Sir: And one more thing, I talked about goods first in this post. You came after me. I wasn't repeating any previously discussed topic. People were talking about ticket prices and clubs entry. If you want full credit for being first, you can't have it.

All they really needed to do was make it $40+$60 with the $60 being an additional charge for losing your mancard for wanting to go. They could claim to be saving it for your vasectomy.
