Hemione works on her tan

The endarkening of the West proceeds apace:
A new-look Hermione Granger will appear as the muggle-born witch in a highly anticipated new Harry Potter stage play.

Olivier Award-winning actress Noma Dumezweni, 45, takes the mantle from Emma Watson and will portray the character in later life. Married to Ron Weasley, audiences will find her working as a lawyer in the department of Magical Law Enforcement.

The play, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, opens at the Palace Theatre in London next summer but has already sold more than a quarter of a million tickets.
Whether one believes this is a positive change or a negative one, the point is that it does mark a significant departure from the recent past. In 100 years, the UK will either be entirely white, or entirely black. That's just the way mass migration and the inevitable reaction to it work. Or, as Jerry Pournelle puts it, There Will Be War.

The funny thing to keep in mind here is that Hermione Granger was every inch a Mary Sue.

We live in times of increasing polarization in all areas of life. Only the ignorants wonder what is going on.

Ridiculous. I've read the books and when a character is black, she designates it by describing them as "black". Hermoine is never described as such. More SJW twaddle.

Like it matters? These are unproductive people, pretending to be imaginary people doing mythical tasks. They could be blue and it wouldn't matter, other than annoying Smurf and Avatar purists. In their entire lives, prancing about on stage is the most important thing they will accomplish. Most of them will get 4 year degrees in "theater" first.

This is common in theater nowadays. In theory it has been a movement to "cast the most talented person" rather than fitting a preconceived notion of how a character should look - theater is a suspension of disbelief anyway, after all. But now it has functionally worked to open all the traditionally white parts to anyone (a black Belle, a black Triton, etc) while closing off the rest of them to white people. I remember that my voice instructor, a philipina who enthusiastically supports this, was super offended when a local theater group cast a white man as the King of Siam in the King and I. You won't see Mufasa played by a European anytime soon.

This gives the term 'mudblood' a whole new meaning.

Considering that this is a story about magic, you can turn yourself into anything even a lawyer. BTW: Black British actors are very skilled. I won't criticize her for this one off experience. Just ridiculous. I won't patronize it either.

Rowling just beat out Dan Brown for the most crass attention whore in fiction. Next up is the sex tape.

So I keep HEARING. SEEING is where the evidence of lack is found.

‘One moment, please, Macnair,’ came Dumbledore’s voice. ‘You need to sign, too.’ The footsteps stopped. Harry heaved on the rope. Buckbeak snapped his beak and walked a little faster.
Hermione’s white face was sticking out from behind a tree.
‘Harry, hurry!’ she mouthed.

"I love you, Hermione," said Ron, sinking back in his chair, rubbing his eyes wearily. Hermione turned faintly pink, but merely said, "Don't let Lavender hear you saying that."

Rowling said this in twitter:
"Canon: brown eyes, frizzy hair and very clever. White skin was never specified. Rowling loves black Hermione"

Well, I read the damn books and like Iyngvi said, there was never any shadow of a doubt that she was a white english girl.

But what did she start out as originally? NOT A NEGRESS. Yet we are given to believe not that she turned into a negress but that she was always one.

"BTW: Black British actors are very skilled."

Which has nothing to do with anything.

When they cast those "skilled" black actors in white roles... IT IS STUPID.

Also, unwatchable.
