Game vs Churchian Idolatry

The Hawaiian Libertarian answers a question that plagues many Christian newcomers to Game: how is Game compatible with Christianity?
Discovering "Game" was my game changer. It gave me a language to describe and think about so many things I previously could not even name, let alone comprehend. It provided a schema for grasping the larger concepts bereft in my emasculated upbringing. And ultimately, it has also  eventually brought me around full circle into belief in the truth of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

For this, I have the degenerate scumbags, the cads, the God Awful P-U-A to thank. Oh promiscuous manwhores who proclaim your proficiency in fornication and adultery, it is your discussions and note-sharing on how to commit these debased sins of hedonistic nihilism by exploiting the fallen, sinful nature of women, that helped me come to understand the primary sin that has infiltrated and subverted Christianity in the West, the sin of IDOLATRY.

I believe that is the real subversion of Christian doctrine in so many Churches today - pedestalization of the pussy...which is really just another manifestation of the ancient, pagan religion of Goddess worship.

From this idolatry flows many other sins and corruption of faith and family.

Anytime a Preacher, Pastor, Elder or some other Churchian authority promotes the Female Imperative by exhorting the men to man up and marry the sluts single moms in the congregation, or cut Husbands and Fathers off at the knees in their sermons, or praises  (worships) and the superior spirituality of Christian women, he is committing the sin of idolatry.

Any church that declares unchaste women "born again virgins," or any particular woman is excused and accepted by a church and it's congregation for destroying her family via frivorce, or preaches mutual submission by husbands to their wives or any other translation of Ephesians 5:22 that undermines a Husbands Patriarchal authority in the home, is a church laying it's offerings on the altar of that ancient, pagan goddess bitch.

Without discovering the red pill of game, I doubt I ever would have came to this realization and recognize this idolatry for what it is, nor broken free from it's ritualistic worship.
Let's not forget Phillipians 1:15-18: "It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice."

Now, Game is not Christ. Game is not Truth. But Game is truth, and he who comes to love truth will, in time, come to love Truth as well. At the very least, the truth-seeker has set himself upon the rocky and difficult path that leads to the Kingdom of Heaven.

"By their fruits you shall know them." And as Keoni demonstrates, the fruit of Game is a sweet one that is beneficial to men.

Not completely on-topic, but Proverbs 30 (specifically verses 18-23) has a few comments about inter-sexual relations:

“There are three things that are too amazing for me,
four that I do not understand:
the way of an eagle in the sky,
the way of a snake on a rock,
the way of a ship on the high seas,
and the way of a man with a young woman.

“This is the way of an adulterous woman:
She eats and wipes her mouth
and says, ‘I’ve done nothing wrong.’

“Under three things the earth trembles,
under four it cannot bear up:
a servant who becomes king,
a godless fool who gets plenty to eat,
a contemptible woman who gets married,
and a servant who displaces her mistress.

And what is the fruit of Game? The complete feminization of the Gamer; the Gamer's desire shall be to his wife/woman, and her pussy will rule over the Gamer. And you think that you are different than those Churchians?

But Game is truth, and he who comes to love truth will, in time, come to love Truth as well.

Before reading your blogs and others in the sphere, I would gloss over the teachings about women and marriage in the Bible. It's not talking about me, that is not my nature - lying to myself while reading, ignoring as best I could the truth of my nature, or at least hoping I wouldn't be found out. Reading here and elsewhere it was inescapable, if these very things I'd like to keep hidden or attempt to deceive myself that they are not true about me are so easily observable in all women, according to these authors, I should probably start reading the Bible more closely - God must have something to say about how to overcome these things. And, thankfully He does. But it begins with Truth and the first step is to stop lying and hiding. It's shameful and embarrassing but so is pooping your pants when you're a potty training toddler. Lying about it, claiming NAWALT, will not clean the poop, you just smell foul. Only by embracing it can you receive help in cleaning it up.

It's a disgusting analogy, sorry. It does prove useful for how we deal with our own daughters when they poop their pants (coveting, false witness, disrespect, irrational outbursts etc) and desire to say "nah uh, no I didn't!"

The idolatry connection is a nice touch, I've seen it applied to a few different circumstances (like the legal fiction of incorporation) to point out how it is so bad. I wonder if God knew about the way idolatry would be used in the future as opposed to some goat-herders in a desert who were naturally inclined to a polytheistic worldview.

I detest the statement, "if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." It should be "if papa ain't happy..."

As late as 1967 there was still a realization of this salient fact, as Bobbi Marten's song, "For the Love of Him" illustrates.

When he opens the door says I'm home
Beware of the look in his eyes
They tell you the mood he's in
What kind of day it's been

For the love of him
Make it your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can

There'll be little things he forgets to do
Have you told him today I love you
When he reaches out be there
Show him that someone cares, he's a
If you take him into your arms

For the love of him
Make it your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can

For the times when he won't say a word
And you wonder if there's something you said
The gentle touch of your hand
Tell him you understand

For the love of him
Make it your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can

Man and a man have to try
Let him run, let him fall, let him cry
His world won't fall apart
Show him that someone cares, he's a
If you take him into your arms

For the love of him
Make it your reason for living
Give all the love you can give him
All the love you can

The HL is right. Game ideas provide a rationale or, for some of the most pathetic, even a kind of permission, to impose on women and to expect submissiveness.

... Do what?

No, no, no, you are fundamentally misunderstanding something here. Game isn't about feminizing the man. It's about strengthening his innate manliness. It's about bringing about something that society has tried to shame out of men, something primal, something women like deep down, so find success with them.

Yes, the goal is to get laid for PUAs, or to improve a marriage for those of us who are married. So pussy plays a part, but it's never in the driver's seat. If it was, it wouldn't be happy -- women don't want to have to be the boss.

I'm sorry that you are so pussy-whipped but don't project that on everyone else.

Off topic, but too good to pass up:

As Wendy Davis touts life story in race for governor, key facts blurred
...While they dated, Wendy Davis enrolled at Texas Christian University on an academic scholarship and a Pell Grant. After they married, when she was 24, they moved into a historic home in the Mistletoe Heights neighborhood of Fort Worth.

Jeff Davis paid for her final two years at TCU. “It was community resources. We paid for it together,” Wendy Davis said.

When she was accepted to Harvard Law School, Jeff Davis cashed in his 401(k) account and eventually took out a loan to pay for her final year there....

...Over time, the Davises’ marriage was strained. In November 2003, Wendy Davis moved out.

Jeff Davis said that was right around the time the final payment on their Harvard Law School loan was due. “It was ironic,” he said. “I made the last payment, and it was the next day she left.”...

Yes, this. You could also say it's about "finding" his innate manliness. Anti-Gamers almost always betray a fundamental misunderstanding of Game. I think many of them are afraid to grow up, to become a man. It scares them and clouds their thinking.

I would love to get you, Rollo Tomassi, Paul Elam, Karen Straughan, thunder foot and Stefan molyneux together for a round table discussion. I myself have always taken the 'manosphere' as a whole, and believe 'the answer' is a mixture of the four main branches (including Traditionalists). I also think the manospheres criticism of 'churchianity' is the beginning of a new Reformation as well.

Its weird but true. I started out agnostic but curious, and am now a believer...even if still highly repulsed by most organized religions.

A woman falls out of love with her husband and abandons him because she's not "happy." According to Christianity, she has broken God's command to submit to her husband. According to the theoreticians of Game and Churchianity, the husband is to blame for not making her WANT to submit to him. The latter make the wife's duties purely optional and thus play into the hands of matriarchy, forcing marriage submit to the woman rather than her to it.

Exactly backward. Churchians explicitly make submissiveness optional and conditional. Game implicitly makes it mandatory. What they potentially have in common is both agree that no relationship is permanent.

Adam Lawson said...

According to the theoreticians of Game and Churchianity, the husband is to blame for not making her WANT to submit to him.

Wrong. In Game, it's not that she is made to want you. It's that you are made to be desirable. The basic wife/husband relationship at sites like MMSL is: Be a higher value than she is when it comes to SMV.

Sometimes women leave husbands with good reason, Game and Churchianity aside. Sometimes men leave wives, with good reason, game and Churchianity aside. The vast majority of marriages that end in divorce, though? Someone isn't socio-sexually mature enough for a marriage. In my experience and opinion, people in the US have been babied more and more with each passing generation, and made more to feel their self esteem is the most important thing ever (hence the bathroom photoshoots and bar photoshoots because the world revolves around them). This stunted growth is horribly bad for a long term relationship and tends toward Churchianity -- if any inclination toward God at all.

And Churchianity is bad for marriages. Game is not.

Don't know what this pussy-whipped little gamma boy can offer, except a perspective you do not want to hear. Game gives mastery of...what? The sexual marketplace? You save western civilization by becoming a new Hercules, dominating with your double phallus', club and penis, delivering to women just what they really want deep down in their little pea-picking hearts. But Hercules serves that woman on the pedestal, Athena. Athena worship dominates Greek culture, dominates Plato, Aristotle, Homer, and other Greek philosophers and writers. She also dominates western civilization, Europe and America. How the fuck did you think women got on that pedestal? And yes, Zeus has game. Who in the bible has game? I would start with Samson; what a role model! King David had game. He sure loved the girls. They sang songs about him. His first wife learned to despise him when he exposed himself to the girls, dancing in the street. Of course he justified himself," I was dancing before the Lord". But didn't God command the High Priest to cover himself so as not to expose himself when he ministered to the Lord. Think David didn't know that? I think his luck with game ended with the dumb-as-dirt slut Bathsheba. That nearly cost him his kingdom and his life. Then Solomon, the pinnacle of game in the bible. Of course he admits to a wasted life in Ecclesiastes. Song of Songs is biblical 'game' from both sides. What did you learn from Song that you have instructed the 'true church' concerning game? Did Moses use game? Abraham? Samuel? Elijah or Elisha? Jonah or Joel or Amos? Did Joseph use game to attract Mary? Did Peter, John, James, Thomas, or the other apostles use game so that they might have a rich fulfilling life? Or were they all of some hierarchical group you have not identified? You are going to Reform the Church so that instead of a saint just getting a mansion on a hill, the mansion will have 72 Virgins. Good luck.

One of the origins of gynocentrism:

Below are compiled a series of authoritative quotes on the subject. Each points to evidence of the beginnings of sexual feudalism in early Europe, along with other contributing factors such as veneration of the Virgin Mary and its influence on women’s status.

■ H.J. Chaytor, The Troubadours: “In the eleventh century the worship of the Virgin Mary became widely popular; the reverence bestowed upon the Virgin was extended to the female sex in general, and as a vassal owed obedience to his feudal overlord, so did he owe service and devotion to his lady… Thus there was a service of love as there was a service of vassalage, and the lover stood to his lady in a position analogous to that of the vassal to his overlord. He attained this position only by stages; “there are four stages in love: the first is that of aspirant (fegnedor), the second that of suppliant (precador), the third that of recognised suitor (entendedor) and the fourth that of accepted lover (drut).” The lover was formally installed as such by the lady, took an oath of fidelity to her and received a kiss to seal it, a ring or some other personal possession.”

■ C.G. Crump, Legacy of the Middle Ages: “The Aristocracy and Church developed the doctrine of the superiority of women, that adoration which gathered round both the persons both of the Virgin in heaven and the lady upon earth, and which handed down to the modern world the ideal of chivalry. The cult of the Virgin and the cult of chivalry grew together, and continually reacted upon one another… The cult of the lady was the mundane counterpart of the cult of the Virgin and it was the invention of the medieval aristocracy. In chivalry the romantic worship of a woman was as necessary a quality of the perfect knight as was the worship of God… It is obvious that the theory which regarded the worship of a lady as next to that of God and conceived of her as the mainspring of brave deeds, a creature half romantic, half divine, must have done something to counterbalance the dogma of subjection. The process of placing women upon a pedestal had begun, and whatever we may think of the ultimate value of such an elevation (for few human beings are suited to the part of Stylites, whether ascetic or romantic) it was at least better than placing them, as the Fathers of the Church had inclined to do, in the bottomless pit.”

I would disagree with the quoted post in one regard, though the rest is excellent. PUAs are not merely capitalizing on the fallen nature of woman, they are capitalizing on the way woman is designed. She was not designed to be the leader. This is evidenced in her desire to be led and protected. She also was not designed to be a good decision maker in the open marketplace, especially marriage. This is the reason she goes from father's house to husband's house with no in between.

Evidence of this fact is her "ability" to size up a man in 90 seconds and make a decision about his suitability as a mate--and why she is so very often wrong--and why the PUAs so often work with blatant bravado and neat little tricks. She is so easily deceived. This has been the case from the first one made (not even born).

This is also why the observable reality of Game so well fits with the Biblical design of marriage. When the man assumes the leadership, protector role, she is much better satisfied, naturally. Sin nature also explains why in even the ideal circumstances, one party or the other in a marriage can still sin and screw things up. As Peter said, make sure your persecution/suffering is due to obedience to Christ, not your own sin. Because at least you're suffering not because of your own stupidity.

Samson was great until he made the beta mistake of telling that traitorous whore how to make him even more of a beta.

Also, none of your examples are held up as examples by anyone in the Manosphere about how to deal with women now. None of those people had to deal with feminists and the current divorce machine.

Even Christ dumped over some tables sometimes. I'm pretty sure He wouldn't like the current Churchian model very much.

How would you respond to GBFM's (a.k.a. lzollzlzol) on you, Vox?

For all his hilarious commentary, when he tries to get serious we see that GBFM is not the Great Thinker he fancies himself. Notice there isn't really a logical argument to be had there, but an array of clumsy rhetorical devices:

#1 - trying to be all kinds of sly by turning the tables and saying Game is just another form of "serving" women. How many wincing gammas make the same claim? And it is an idiotic claim to anyone who actually thinks the whole thing over.

#2 - putting words in the opponents' mouths: the hilarious thing is that rather than trying to resurrect the Christian Soul in the churches, schools, universities, and family court system and reform women, the “Christian men” such as Dalrock & Vox suggest... Totally ignoring the many posts Vox and Dalrock have made regarding those very things.

#3 ridicule by hyperbole: Dalrock and Vox are stating that the teachings of Heartiste are the same as those of Christ...yawn.

#4 guilt by association -- He takes the most titillating of the scumbag actions proposed by some of the Game guys and then infers that Vox/Dalrock are just so cool with that because... it's Game.

He's also making a false dilemma. I mean, what does he propose? That the average chump should just keep on being a chump around women, because that's what God wants? Or is he just saying that men should exercise traditional masculinity and we should live in a society where women's wantonness is controlled via family, law and culture? Exactly where have Vox and Dalrock disagreed with this? We don't have that society, but interestingly, if men *act* like we have that society, women tend to go with it far more than they are willing to admit in public, and this concurs with at least 75% of what is being called "Game". Oops. Guess we'd better throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Gotta respect GBFM's contribution to the manosphere for his "Alpha Fux and Beta Bux" axiom, but the man does come across as someone with a mental illness. His straw man attack on Vox and Dalrock with an obscene rewrite of the Sermon on the Mount was just sad. "Blessed are the meek" does not apply to inter-sexual relations, at least not unless the wife is meeker than her husband...a truth being taught by Game but not by the Churchian pastors who want to forget 1 Timothy 3:5- "For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?"

Guys, I think you all misunderstand the whole game is just submitting to women argument when you disagree with it. Let me lay it out for you.

1. Women are attracted to manly men.
2. Women like feelings of attraction.
3. To be attractive to women is to give them what they want.
4. It is not manly to give women what they want.
5. To be manly is to give women what they want, and it is unmanly to give women what they want, therefore there is no such thing as manliness.
6. So you certainly couldn't consider commenters like bobbye2 to be any less of a man than any other commenter here, as there is no such thing as masculinity.

Simple.
