Nietzsche on women

The old nihilist may have been moralblind, but it is informative to see how his description of the effect of women unlearning to fear men echoes the effects of Man unlearning to fear God:
The weaker sex has in no previous age been treated with so much respect by men as at present--this belongs to the tendency and fundamental taste of democracy, in the same way as disrespectfulness to old age--what wonder is it that abuse should be immediately made of this respect? They want more, they learn to make claims, the tribute of respect is at last felt to be well-nigh galling; rivalry for rights, indeed actual strife itself, would be preferred: in a word, woman is losing modesty. And let us immediately add that she is also losing taste. She is unlearning to FEAR man: but the woman who "unlearns to fear" sacrifices her most womanly instincts.

That woman should venture forward when the fear-inspiring quality in man--or more definitely, the MAN in man--is no longer either desired or fully developed, is reasonable enough and also intelligible enough; what is more difficult to understand is that precisely thereby-- woman deteriorates. This is what is happening nowadays: let us not deceive ourselves about it! Wherever the industrial spirit has triumphed over the military and aristocratic spirit, woman strives for the economic and legal independence of a clerk: "woman as clerkess" is inscribed on the portal of the modern society which is in course of formation. While she thus appropriates new rights, aspires to be "master," and inscribes "progress" of woman on her flags and banners, the very opposite realises itself with terrible obviousness: WOMAN RETROGRADES.

Since the French Revolution the influence of woman in Europe has DECLINED in proportion as she has increased her rights and claims; and the "emancipation of woman," insofar as it is desired and demanded by women themselves (and not only by masculine shallow-pates), thus proves to be a remarkable symptom of the increased weakening and deadening of the most womanly instincts. There is STUPIDITY in this movement, an almost masculine stupidity, of which a well-reared woman--who is always a sensible woman--might be heartily ashamed.
In short, female "progress" is nothing less than the devolution of civilization, a prediction which we are seeing play out in real time.

Yes, imagine if he and Schopenhauer could see the stupidity that exists today.

I like Nietzsche's analysis of modern thought:

To be mistaken in the fundamental problem of "man and woman," to deny here the profoundest antagonism and the necessity for an eternally hostile tension, to dream here perhaps of equal rights, equal training, equal claims and obligations: that is a TYPICAL sign of shallow-mindedness … he will probably prove too "short" for all fundamental questions of life, future as well as present, and will be unable to descend into ANY of the depths.

Women lost their rights...when they got the right to vote.

Female progress came off the back of male progress.

Men are the innovators...and females are the benefactors. I have yet to see the genders reverse this statement.

Real time? In one week every woman at work say, the DMV, the doctors office, the pharmacy, the grocery stores are all inefficient. No one can properly; fill a script, slice some meat, complete a car title or process a payment.

Send them all HOME.

And to top it all off, a girl ran into my vehicle, jumps out and blames us. We laughed, called the insurance company just to reveal, the tart had no license, no insurance, etc.

Take the credit cards, drivers licenses and then the right to vote - away NOW.

You can talk about freedom and liberty all you want but this isn't working for women or society.

An interesting insight for a man dead 113 years. After 40 years of American FemLib he would haved viewed us as savages.

yep, government offices in particular are nothing but a sea of "independent" females functioning in our Full Female Economy

women are experts at forcing males out of employment settings, using endless tactics, then pretending they had not a thing to do with the evil they just committed

the only males left in employment are the simpering protectors and enablers of the Fempire . . . the american workplace has self-selected for castration for thirty years now, and it's showing everywhere in this debased feminist kulture

not only have women been freed from any "fear" of male response, the massive Prison Industrial Complex and LE-society ensures that no male can ever rebuke or correct a female -- try it, even verbally, and the JustSis sistem will put you in the mancages for Verbal Harrassment, or etc etc

the first target of the Fempire sixty years ago was the war against (male) Domestic Violence, and looking back, this was a cunning tactic, bc once husbands (and men in general) were not allowed to restrain or correct malevolvent female behavior, then the doors to hell could be pried wide open, and ALL restraint of sinister female behavior, collective or individual, quickly became a "crime" (and indeed the practice of female malice became "empowerment" and "equality")

now in the West, it is men who live in fear of women, and of the state/church Instruments women wield as proxy terrorists to cover-up and justify their selfishness, powerlust, and evil

Nietzsche, for all that satire that he produced, was also a prophet.

I believe Vox wrote a post that democracy is usually followed by aristocratic society, not a dictator. So when Aristocratic tendencies return, society should start to progress again.

What does it mean to be a man? If I asked you (Vox) or other manosphere writers what that meant, what would you say? What should boys and young men be striving for? I don't think I've ever seen that summed up in a post.

"description of the effect of women unlearning to fear men echoes the effects of Man unlearning to fear God"

exactly, and thats why this is such an important post

either there is order on earth, as female obeys male, male obeys Christ, and Christ obeys Father

or there is iniquity and disorder and evil, as female collectivizes, and hires polities and churches to serve and enforce her interests

"Since the French Revolution the influence of woman in Europe has DECLINED in proportion as she has increased her rights and claims;"

that event struck nietzsche bc it was the turning-point of modern western history

communism was introduced to the world via the FR, before the world even had a name for it . . . and now a form of it, as femarxism, rules all the west

masonic groups organized and funded the FR, getting a crucial foothold in europe, in a nation always susceptible to rebellion to God (albigensians etc)

the same masonic groups and families still control the modern forms of communism, and the subject-nations

Knowing the utopian socialist's mindset, I can't wait for children to become the new 'opressed' class, then there will be a gnashing of teeth among women.

Right now the UN is talking about the sexual rights of children.

Am I the only person here who finds English translations of Nietzsche's work painful to read?

They flow horribly. I don't know if it's how he truly wrote and they're trying to preserve the spirit, or they just can't write something that reads easily but it really hurts my head to read.

And I am not someone who can't read so-called difficult text. I prefer it actually. So that's not it.

I'm not capable of reading the source so I can't say if the scholars who wrote the King James Bible did a decent job at preserving the style or spirit of the language used, if it was even possible, but it goes without saying that it's one of these finest books ever written in the English language, if not the finest.

It's certainly possible.

Vox, what happened with the guest poster who was documenting his experience using Game?

"Since the French Revolution the influence of woman in Europe has DECLINED"

Has he quantified this? It seems like women has increased their influence along with rights and claims. Women are in positions of power in government and business and the home. How is this lessened?

For once, I'm actually happy that we have gays and lesbians in our society. They invalidate discriminatory argument like this. Biologically, they are men and women, but socially, what should they be "unlearning to fear"?

In b4 LGBT is proof of devolution of civilization.

Might this also be applied to God and man as well? When you add in the "Jesus is my magical boyfriend" stuff; when one thinks God so approachable and all-loving and not-at-all-judgmental, perhaps that would explain why those who do not fear the Lord cease to become at all pleasing or obedient to him.
