Similar to the previous questions on income and sexual experience, I'm interested in obtaining some actual data on sexual fidelity. This is completely anonymous, so please be straightforward. As to the guide of what constitutes unfaithfulness, I encourage you to use your own personal metric for what you would consider to constitute your spouse cheating on you. "Serious boyfriend or girlfriend" means a relationship that precluded other relationships. Here are the questions:

We aren't talking about "emotional marriages" here, so I'm not sure why "emotional affairs" are in any way relevant.
Unless an act is performed, it doesn't count as infidelity.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying emotional affairs aren't distressing and threatening to marriage - just that, until their seeming trajectory is played out to their natural outcome - they are way too vague a concept.
I know people who claim emotional affairs when their husband flirts with shop girls. I know people who claim emotional affairs in order to deny themselves the truth of an actual affair. Way too broad a definition.
"Emotional affair" is like "emotional distress" - until there are punches thrown, it isn't a measurable.
