Some 42% of adults say knowing someone’s credit score would affect their willingness to date that person, according to a survey released on Wednesday of 1,000 adults by personal finance website Bankrate.com. That’s up from nearly 40% last year. Women were nearly three times as likely to consider credit score a major influence on a potential partner compared to men (20% versus 7%).Like it or not, resource harvesting is a major priority to women. And this is to the benefit of the less attractive men, as it gives them access to women they would not otherwise have. That being said, if you're using your wallet to attract a woman, do try to remember that it is your wallet, and not your face or your kind, loving heart, to which she is attracted.
As long as you remember that, and continue to utilize that, you'll be fine. It's when men try to pull a bait-and-switch on women that they tend to suddenly discover problems in their previously functional arrangement. It's no different than a women using her body to attract a man, then gaining 50 pounds. If you don't continue to supply the attraction, the other individual will, quite naturally, become less attracted.

Women are also three times more likely to get unlimited access to said credit and ruin it by buying frivolous crap.
Ok, I'm making that one up. But I bet it's based on real life situations.

No, you're not making it up, and yes, it's absolutely true. Time also was, in the past, that a man could put a stop to such shenanigans. Today, however, that gets a man labeled as an "abuser."
They're irresñonsible parasites, guys, and they're not worth the risk. If you've got a top-tier credit score, keep it that way for your own benefit and don't risk anyone else ruining it for you by becoming "one legal flesh" with them.

I know this is partially in jest, but I know multiple women who have "maxed out" their credit cards. A few of them now have husbands working feverishly to pay off the debt and the interest.
Even worse, I know a woman whose spending was so out of control she got a second psychologist...one who specializes in "spending disorders" or something like that. When I suggested that perhaps she was wasting even more money by hiring someone with a questionable "skill," she terminated the friendship. Sometimes you don't even know what to say; actions speak for themselves.
What's my credit score? If you're asking a question like that, it's probably about the same as your N.
I liked the way Marilyn Monroe put it in How to Marry a Millionaire: Men want a girl who is pretty, or physically attractive, so what is wrong with a woman who wants a man who is rich, or financially attractive? Personally, I think after a certain point there are other factors of crucial importance if a girl is pretty enough or a man is rich enough. I consider it mentally diseased if a man picks a girl who is somewhat prettier than another pretty girl without considering other relevant factors. And if a woman chooses a psychopath over a normal guy just because he has a better credit score that woman also deserves what happens to her.
A credit score is a lot more than being wealthy. It is also a measure of responsibility and living within one's means. That's why insurance companies often use credit score in rating policies auto insurance and the like. In the language of RPG's, it has a high correlation with the wisdom stat.
A woman who does not have a 720 credit score is unmarriable, unless it was the result of medical debt. She is living above her means, and that hunger will not be sated even if you provide greater means. It speaks to her lack of impulse control meaning she is also more likely to cheat on you. And the icing on the cake is she will impart that irresponsibility onto your children.
They need your credit to be up high because that means you can pay off their student loans.
I mean, how many girls going to college today actually expect to be the breadwinner, paying it back themselves?
One would think that any man with a lick of sense would want to know something like this about a woman he might marry because it gives him valuable insight into how she'll treat him and his money. A bad credit score can be right up there with dishonest body language around the question of "how many..." as a serious red flag.

@James
The funny thing is, it's a false equivalence. The female equivalent of a man being rich is her having mad domestic skillz rather than being hot. An attractive broke-ass bum's or ghetto thug's female equivalent is a hot girl whose apartment is a complete disaster zone and who can't cook to save her life.
I don't have a credit card in my name because after years of running it up and then trying to pay it off we both agreed that I don't have the discipline to carry one around. Its Common sense to know your limits instead of clinging to delusions of equality and independence.
I am not at all ashamed to admit I would not be attracted to a grocery store clerk. I didnt marry for money but i also wouldnt have married without it. More women would do well to recognize that a man with the skill and personal qualities that make him capable of a high credit score should also be deferred to on major financial decisions and lots of other things too. After all, he typically is paying the tab for most of it if not all of it.
Haus frau, you got an available cute sister??
Haus frau: I think it's like a skilled surgeon who worked hard for years at med school demanding to be treated with respect commensurate to the work he's put in. It would be insulting to offer such a person a job at Burger king. Similarly I think we men have an unspoken need for that type of respect, and recoil instinctively when we don't get it.
Keyser, sorry no. In the interests of full disclosure the batshit crazy runs pretty hit or miss in my family.
When my wife got pragnent she did that genetic test thing where they check you out for all the possible flaws and such like. She got a perfect score and we called it "girl with perfect genes meets man with perfect credit".
Her credit was crap, because she has no financial sense, which is why I handle all money and give her a weekly allowance.
Jehu: "A credit score is a lot more than being wealthy. It is also a measure of responsibility and living within one's means. "
A credit score is an indicator of how disposed you are to taking on debt and paying exorbitant interest.
Pay cash, negotiate a discount.
Anon: "A woman who does not have a 720 credit score is unmarriable, unless it was the result of medical debt. "
And that makes her un-marriable too
Like the wise prophet Kanye said
"Now I ain't sayin' she a gold digger.
But she ain't messin' with no broke niggas"
Credit score means nothing when used as measurement of wealth or income generating potential. Ive built a mini empire that continues to grow exponentially via strategic reinvestment of profits and private financing. Never once had to turn to to a skank err.. bank. Credit score reflects this.
