In case you ever doubted the female tendency to herd. And this illustrates why it is a mistake for men to try to attract women by following their lead. When you do that, you're literally sending her signals that you are her competition, not a prospective romantic interest.
Then again, some men have no cause to criticize.

Yeah okay, "herd instinct". But did those chicks all text each other to find out what uniform to wear that day?
There is a small percentage of virtuous, a small percentage of evil, and the rest are sheeple. The evil always control the sheeple, and the virtuous always suffer.
Wow..those boys look pathetic. It looks they are headed off to a Robin Hood play or Shakespeare reenactment. Low T has taken its toll

All human attributes occur on a spectrum, and that includes herding tendency. I find high-spectrum herders to be insufferable (but then I'm sure they return the sentiment.)
Piercings. Tattoos. Buy-wear-once-donate "fashion" cycles. Obsession with changing their appearance (in general.) "Cause of the Week." It's all part of the obsession with self-image as defined in the reflection of others' eyes (i.e., social status.) It's grossly amplified by (anti)Social Media.
Paradoxically, it appears that herding behavior amplifies herding behavior. I wonder where it all reverses trend? There already isn't much oxygen at this altitude.
Related: Jordan Peterson talks about how people incorporate lies into their self-image. I think social-status-obsessed people are by definition The People of the Lie.
I want to know where the guys shop to get t-shirts that long. Tuck those in and they'd stay tucked in.
So women are dressing like men and men are dressing like women.
There's nothing wrong with plays or Shakespeare reenactments. Actors get tons of girls as long as they aren't gay.
And Shakespeare is timeless. You can learn everything one needs to know about human nature from Shakespear and the Bible (and CH).
Are those creatures in the 2nd pic wearing TIGHTS?
Serious question: how is this different from how Deltas herd?

Sometimes they do. You'd be amazed. But usually it's simply an internalized consensus. Like syncing menstruation cycles. The girls. Not the guys.
O.K. Maybe the guys.
The top photo is a very good 80s rock band.

@Feather Blade, they're obviously short. Notice the fact that none of them are even slightly hunched at an ATM, usually set for average female heights. Of course, if you want a long T shirt, I recommend a big and tall store. DXL has decent stuff.
How do women even make the sole of a sneaker look feminine?
Predictability broadcasts domestication.
