It's an interesting question: which is more embarrassing, Michelle Fields doubling down, then doubling down again, then doubling down again, simply because the Alpha and his entourage simply refuse to accept her Female Imperative Narrative, or the legion of cuckservative white knights rushing to her defense in order to Slay the Evil Alpha-Dragon?
I'd say it's the white knights. Their behavior is simply cringeworthy and almost defies belief.
But notice how Trump, being a strong Alpha, not only stands his ground, but refuses to even consider sacrificing his supporters. (Supporters, plural, because submitting to the Fields Narrative would not only cost his campaign manager, but all of those who have stood by him since the media kerfluffle started.) This is vital, and it is winning him support for reasons both rational and socio-sexual.
If you weren't convinced Trump was a true Alpha before, this should suffice.

Perhaps this is not fully correct. Trump is in fact the rarest of all beasts: an Alpha/Sigma hybrid.
Working loosely off of "The Hierarchy" permanently linked in the right-hand-panel of this blog: Alphas and Sigmas each have small weaknesses. Alphas can't stand to be laughed at (by Sigmas), and can be maneuvered into foolishly aggressive/risky actions by calling them chicken. (Alphas can't not barge in and try to run over opposition). Sigmas can't command the obedience of Betas; usually they don't want to, but sometimes the need does arise.
Trump exhibits the strengths of both and the weaknesses of neither. VD has well established his Alpha qualities. But the cleverness of stealing Jeb Bush's web domain, the audacity to skip a debate, the savviness to not walk into the trap in Chicago... these are Sigma traits. I think if you look, you will find a plethora of additional examples.
^Now *this* is interesting... Amen.
(Looking forward to follow up on these events. Amen.)
Interesting point c.g. These archetypes can work for each rank: A= King, B=Nobleman, D=Citizen, G=Thief, O=Hobo, L=Madman, and S=Rebel. And Trump does represent the best qualities of both the King and the Rebel.

Glenn Reynolds thinks an apology and a beer would've nipped this in the bud.
I don't think so.
Her over-reaction and hysteria a bit later after the arm grab shows she's the unstable type - prone to exaggeration and drama. With a comforting white knight as witness, she played it up.
I don't think an apology was going to stop her from claiming her "victim" card.
Her supporters are now saying it's the smears that provoked her to file a complaint.
That doesn't wash. There wouldn't have been a smear if she wasn't trying to make a bigger deal out of a laughably minor incident.
Again, this is not the mindset of someone willing to take an apology and let bygones be bygones. She wanted it to be a "big deal."
Did she deserve all that followed? I don't know. I don't care.
But she isn't some innocent lamb, set upon by wolves. She kicked a hornet nest over something most folks let slide.
Honestly, no one looks good coming out of this, though I think Trump is right for sticking by his guy. The typical "Right" reaction is to ostracize/sacrifice the poor guy and try to change the headlines.
She was dared to file a police report and she did. The police came up with a clear video. Previous videos obscured the incident. So this could be an escalation that only an alpha could do. Trump also escalated the imaginary Cruz attack against his wife. (It was another organization that did it.) We are in the quagmire of Trump doubling down on minor ego bruising incidences and turning them into political stories. They are distractions. Let Trump take the hits. Its his crumbling reputation.
The police came up with a clear video.
It's my understanding that Trump supplied that video to the cops.
Yes, Trump said he gave the video to the cops. Hope he sues her for battery in touching him repeatedly while he was leaving, by jumping through the SS agents.
Cruz is the fake "christian", Trump is the real deal - God's man for our time. Deo gratias. God protect him from all harm!
WND has picked up a post by Mike Cernovich on this: http://www.wnd.com/2016/03/lewandowski-prosecutor-outed-as-hillary-supporter/
As I said over on VD: Trump didn't roll on his boy. My vote for him is less a "Burn it down and enjoy the keks" vote every day.
Trump didn't roll on his boy.
The conservatives, even guys on our side, asking for an apology and a beer show how deep the rot is.
Trump didn't roll on his boy.
That's amazing.

Trump exhibits the strengths of both and the weaknesses of neither.
I disagree. Trump's strengths are classic alpha, but so are his weaknesses. For a while after Rubio dropped out, the narrative was shifting to Trump as the presumptive nominee and Cruz and Kasich in a horse race for second place. Trump seems to have helped reverse that narrative by attacking Cruz's wife in response to the super pac going after his own wife. This might still work to Trump's advantage if the NE Cruz affair story has legs, because creating sympathy for Cruz's wife would make Cruz cheating on her look worse.
Instapundit linked today to a National Review piece quoting an exchange between Coulter and Yiannopoulos on Trump. In the exchange Coulter refers to Trump as "mental", and says supporting him is getting to be like bailing out a sixteen year old out of jail:
"COULTER: Our candidate is mental! Do you realize our candidate is mental? It’s like constantly having to bail out your sixteen-year-old son from prison. Let’s move past last night’s tweet — you know perfectly well what tweet I’m talking about."
Trump's need to respond to all attacks on himself and his is a great advantage to him, but it also can at times be a liability. The National Review however misses the point:
He’s always been that guy, and you denied it and ignored it and hand-waved it away and made excuses every step of the way because you were convinced that you were so much smarter than the rest of us. You were so certain that you had received some superior wavelength giving you special insight into the Donald; only you could tell that it was all an act. Only you could grasp that his constant courting of controversy was just to get attention from the media.
This isn't why people are supporting Trump. I believe most have seen his flaws all along, but are supporting him because he is the only one who will fight against the PC onslaught and say what is obvious about our borders and our economy.
Dalrock, I agree on all but your last sentence. "PC onslaught" is just a symptom. This is about people noticing that the game is rigged for the haves at the expense of the have-nots.
All those who hate Trump trot out the BS that supporters completely overlook his flaws. That is utter tripe and Jeff and Dalrock are right. Trump is the only one really standing up to the system. Cruz tries to position himself that way, but he is only still there because Trump was in the race.
I read the comments in on of the articles Instapundit linked yesterday and it was amazing how many idiots have no clue that many Trump supporters clearly know he sucks. He just sucks less than others, something many people forget.
Glenn Reynolds thinks an apology and a beer would've nipped this in the bud.
Not a chance in Hell.
OT: Ted Cruz claims he has "no desire to copulate with [Donald Trump]"

Sigma traits... are being smart? And alphas can't be smart?
I think you're misunderstanding something fundamental here.
The Trump phenomenon has been vastly entertaining, but the cost of that has been the number of white knights knuckling under. Dalrock's quoting Jim Geraghty, who I'd been reading for over 12 years and still got his daily newsletter until a few weeks ago until his constant anti-Trump lunacy bled over into insulting me. I used to really enjoy reading Ace, Jonah Goldberg, Andrew Klavan--heck, I even bought Kevin Williamson's book about the coming collapse and how we could make things better. But ye gods, these guys are just clueless and keep aping SJW tactics.
Scott Adams said it best: these guys are wedded to 2D thinking, and they can't fathom how a 3D thinker works.
(And of course an apology and a beer wouldn't have worked. Step 4: Reject and Transform.)
Just a reminder:
The eight stages of the SJW attack sequence are as follows:
1. Locate or Create a Violation of the Narrative.
2. Point and Shriek.
3. Isolate and Swarm.
4. Reject and Transform.
5. Press for Surrender.
6. Appeal to Amenable Authority.
7. Show Trial.
8. Victory Parade.
I reckon they're working in the 5/6/7 range right now. Trump, on the other hand, is working on making the rubble bounce, I'd say.
Slarrow, it is not a "cost" that cucks have revealed their true, treacherous colors. It costs you nothing when people who were never really on your side start openly acting like they're opposed to you.
"I'd say it's the white knights. Their behavior is simply cringeworthy ...."
"Criminally actionable" sounds good to me. We will be getting there, too. With or without America.
Michelle Fields has no power without the male Right Wing of the gynarchy as pimpette. Feminism has corrupted everything precisely because 'conservative' (and Christian) men didn't stand against it, but instead filled their pockets with money and their egos with pride. I know these men, their wives and their ways, and few of them will repent until the hour they face judgment. Too much invested psycho-socially and economically. Most men live for status.
You do not sit down for giggles 'n brew with your enemies, while apologizing for masculine behaviors. If you're strong (I'm not) you can pray for your enemies, as the king directed. But stop playing buddy-buddy with the very persons and organizations who are destroying your nations, aborting your children, and de-fathering your families. These weak righty men want to be Friends with everybody, as long as the skin is coming off some other guy's back.
Some polling has Cruz up comfortably in WI don't know how the Alpha act has played out in Cheesestan
John Cardillo pointed out that filing a report because there was no apology is absurd.
Also Lewandowski probably doesn't remember touching her at all. It wasn't a big deal and he spends time in NYC. So he wouldn't have apologized because he wouldn't remembered doing so, and there goes any intent.
But the cleverness of stealing Jeb Bush's web domain, the audacity to skip a debate, the savviness to not walk into the trap in Chicago... these are Sigma traits. I think if you look, you will find a plethora of additional examples.
He's being advised by people who read Le Chateau. Jeb was too, but he had the address for the wrong chateau.
Fun fact, I've seen people on Reddit fisking Chateau Autiste as if it were serious PUA. Projection infection, can I get an amen?
Interesting point c.g. These archetypes can work for each rank: A= King, B=Nobleman, D=Citizen, G=Thief, O=Hobo, L=Madman, and S=Rebel. And Trump does represent the best qualities of both the King and the Rebel.
It's as if people have a genetic predisposition to sort themselves into a caste structure. But hey, I'm just this crazy unemployable person.
Incidentally, don't pick math as your major. People will tell you you can do anything with it, but they are just repeating lies they've heard.
Sigma traits... are being smart? And alphas can't be smart?
I think you're misunderstanding something fundamental here.
It's not the worst heuristic in the world. Figure one in six people is an introvert, and one in two extremely smart people is an introvert. Whatcha get from that is introverts tend to be pretty smart, and so people get mixed up and figure smart means introverted.
Glenn Reynolds thinks an apology and a beer would've nipped this in the bud.
Huh, that's the same as the combination on my luggage.
It's great how the cucks say the new videos validate her story, yet here's what she said herself initially http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2016/03/10/3276486/
"Trump wandered around, stopping at every reporter to take their questions. When he approached me, I asked him about his view on an aspect of affirmative action.
Trump acknowledged the question, but before he could answer I was jolted backwards. Someone had grabbed me tightly by the arm and yanked me down. I almost fell to the ground, but was able to maintain my balance. Nonetheless, I was shaken. "
none of the videos come close to validating that story, she was clearly chasing after trump as he tried to leave, and was moved aside with a reasonable amount of force. No one in Trump's entourage would have remembered the incidental interaction a few minutes later. Knowing he never heard nor acknowledged such a question, of course Trump denied it ever happened.
He never approached her, if she was asking a question she was shouting it to his back. She lied to make it sound much worse than it was, and she has a history of doing so.
Where was Trump's Secret Service detail? Imagine if some unknown person - man or woman - rushed Obama after a speech. That person would be taken down by the Secret Service in two seconds. Probably arrested, too.
I could not care less about Michelle Fields. To classify what was in the video as "battery" is laughable.
So instead of talking about Fields, let's talk about Trump. He's obviously an Alpha. The problem is the fallacy that being Alpha = being a good candidate for President.
The manosphere is replete with tales of Alpha males who are simultaneously pretty worthless human beings as productive members of society. I am not saying that to imply that Trump has been worthless; only that it is obvious that all Alphas are not suited for leadership. The ability to be charming, and get panties wet doesn't mean the guy should be trusted with the highest office in the land.
So the argument that Trump is Alpha, and other candidates are not is aren't is pretty irrelevant to me.
Secondly, I think Trump has correctly identified many important issues. It does not logically follow that he has offered the best solutions to those problems. Recognizing Trump, and even appreciating Trump for moving the Overton window, and bringing attention to important issues still doesn't mean he had good proposals to address those issues.
I understand feeling an affinity for Trump. But he loses me when he starts talking about his proposals, which in many cases are fantastical, and in many others are just flat out the opposite of what I would approve.
So, yes he's Alpha. Yes, he is talking about some of the right issues. So what? He still hasn't offered a coherent plan to address the issues.
It's like visiting a psychologist who can tell you what's wrong, but has no viable solutions. You temporarily feel good because someone seems to understand what you have been going through. But later it dawns on you that you didn't get any solutions, and you are actually $200 worse off than you were before visiting the Shrink.
That's Trump to me.
The one good Trump solution offered is stop Muslim immigration to USA.
The Wall is only a symbolic solution, not a real solution. We need to put troops on the border and start killing those who try to come in illegally. That is a real solution.
The trade issues have long been an issue for Trump. But the solutions he has offered are patently unconstitutional.
What Constitution? Oh, you mean the rules that the losers insist on following?
What Constitution? Oh, you mean the rules that the losers insist on following?
I would agree on the Alpha-Sigma hybrid, but sigmas aren't rebels, they hold the place of Merlin, or a priest or a vizier. An Alpha is most successful by accepting a Sigma who isn't going to play any game to help filter tactical from manipulative challenges. Either Trump himself is the Hybrid, or he learned long ago he needs betas to execute, but also sigmas. The mob model is capo (alpha), vice-capo (beta), consigliare (sigma).
The white knights taking the Fields has reach absurdly epic proportions.
Do they want to kiss the boo-boo and make it better?
I got far worse bruises from slipping on the ice this winter. Her outrage would be entirely out of proportion to the alleged injury if she wasn't stalking Trump (would they go after the SS who would have really done some damage - and where are the white knights over far worse cases of police brutality).
And we've slipped out of the "I'm an equal, tough woman!" narrative.
But the bruised banana must be avenged! Chivalry!
They aren't really white knights but white pawns, who hope to be sacrificed or reach the 8th rank were they will prefer knighting to transgender surgery.
Glenn Reynolds is a dipshit.
Apologize to a pushy, aggressive (((journalist))) with a long and well-documented history of self-promotion by putting herself in precarious situations with easy-to-blame authority.
Shit, this stuff is so obvious, even a libertard law professor should be able to figure it out.
The Constitution is the rulebook. Because the progressives were losers when playing by the rules, they became the WWE Heel. Trump clearly but simply plays by their rulebook - if they return to the constitution, he is likely to follow. This includes the originalist / living doc divide.
The WKs I don't find cringeworthy, I find them comic, or at least something to gawk at like an animal trying to figure out a mirror. In the case of Glenn Beck who had a - we need a name for a white-knighting psychotic break meltdown - I wonder if the correct term might be bingeworthy.
I would note that some white-knighting for the victims of the rape-ugees in Europe might be worthy of sympathy, or maybe more if they can make distinctions. Women suffering real, brutal, abuse at the hands of men.
The strange thing is there is more angst against Trump than over the Islamists.
Glenn Reynolds is a dipshit.
I wouldn't say that.
I'd say, "Until you run into that type of situation, you think your training prepared you for it."
For some of us, it was frivorce. For others, it's stuff like Mozilla, GG, or Fields.
Until you run smack dab into the entitled mentality that doesn't care if they rip their house apart, as long as they get tingles...you can't fully appreciate the "I. Don't. Care. I won't apologize." attitude.
Anchorman, I hear you, but on the other hand, how does a man get to Reynolds' age and position and not know this?
The only video I've seen so far (http://patterico.com/2016/03/29/trumps-campaign-manager-charged-with-battery-today/) showed Fields walking alongside Trump, clearly talking to him, until Lewandowski grabbed her. I don't know where Marc DuQuesne is getting the "she was shouting questions at his back" thing, because that video definitely shows the opposite.
You know, it's disgusting when women defend other women for no other reason than Team Woman. But it's just as disgustingly irrational when men go all Team Man. The truth is what should matter, period. And every bit of evidence I've seen so far says that Fields was telling the truth, and Lewandowski was lying when he claimed never to have touched her. If there's other video that supports the "she was chasing after Trump as he tried to leave" assertion, please show it to me.
What? Why did my comment show up as "Unknown"? I'm signed in to my Google account.
Oh well. The previous comment should be attributed to Robin Munn.
Who?
Just stop with the hybrid nonesense. Sigma has high sexual standing, but does not have interest in what his social standing is, and typically will only target whatever social standing that pulls in the most pussy at the moment.
If the media reports that Fields died in a fire, I'll assume she's just suffering from a really nice suntan.
I've seen mountains from molehills, but it is pretty rare to see a gal turn a mole into a moon.
"Just stop with the hybrid nonesense. Sigma has high sexual standing, but does not have interest in what his social standing is, and typically will only target whatever social standing that pulls in the most pussy at the moment."
It could also be said Sigma has "interest" in whatever really benefits his bottom line; be it social and/or sexual goals.
Amen.
