The Sun, Britain’s top-selling newspaper, has scrapped Page 3’s topless women after 44 years, delighting the legion of critics who have branded the photos of bare-breasted models sexist, offensive and anachronistic. Insiders said the decision has been taken to kill off the controversial feature quietly but that the feature would continue online.When I was in England, I found Page Three to be cheesy and vulgar, and the girls tended to be on the plain side, but nevertheless, I think it's a huge mistake for the Sun to back down in this way. Feminists are never content with a victory; next they'll soon move on to campaign against lingerie and bikini pictures.
“This comes from high up, from New York,” said one senior executive in a reference to the paper’s owner Rupert Murdoch.
The Sun refused to respond to any calls, emails or texts from the Guardian throughout Monday but told the Times, which is also owned by Murdoch: “Page 3 of The Sun is where it’s always been, between pages 2 and 4, and you can find Lucy from Warwick at Page3.com.” The paper reported that last Friday’s edition of the paper will be the last that would “carry an image of a glamour model with bare breasts on that page”.
A spokeswoman for the campaign group No More Page 3: “This could be truly historic news and a great day for people power.” adding it “could be a huge step for challenging media sexism”.
The change may be reversed, it is understood, if it results in a noticeable Sun sales decline.

This comes at the same time as British feminists are outraged at complaints that Rita Ora was showing too much cleavage on a recent episode of an entertainment show. In this article a feminist twists herself into a pretzel trying to simultaneously imply ("argue" is too strong a word) that a) women should be able to show as much breast as they feel like, and b) the media should not reproduce images of breasts.
Feminists want to thrust their nipples in your face, and shame you when you have the temerity to notice them.

I was stationed in Germany and stopped at the local gas station to fill up. The wife went inside for a snack. She came back out telling me we were never shopping there again because they sell porn. I informed her it was going to get awfully boring staying at home and never using gasoline again. Every German gas station sells tabloid newspapers showing bare breasts on Page one.
I feel sorry for the future Page 3 girls who will never get their big break. Now British skanks won't have anything to look forward to at 18 and nothing to brag about when they turn 30.
The really odd thing about this is that Murdoch just went on a rant about fighting muzzies and then he goes and does something that no only capitulates to feminists but Muslims as well.
I predict that The Sun will have a rather noticeable drop in circulation in the near future.

Not likely. In a world awash in free porn, it is unlikely that many men are buying the Sun just for Page 3 girl. There is still fish to be wrapped and bird cages needing to be lined as well as fireplaces to start.
Sounds to me that Page 3 was discontinued because the women weren't supernaturally attractive. Even most feminists don't complain about incredibly attractive women showing their stuff for the world to see. They encourage it.
Given the feminist push to normalize women showing breasts in public while breastfeeding, and the feminist assault on showing breasts which don't have babies attached, the feminist message is obvious.
Feminists want the page three girls to pop a baby on those breasts.

Female illogic caused feminists to turn back the clock on themselves. It is a choice to pose topless and it is a choice to buy the newspaper. There is less choice for women to make a living in the newspaper business. What's a working girl to do?

Women don't know what they want. They're destructive without men overseeing them and providing guidance.
Do nudists argue in good faith (that they feel it is natural to be naked in public)? Possibly. However, I note that most "nudists" wear hats, scarves, boots, belts, etc. Pretty much anything except what covers their junk. To me, it's just perversion of another stripe.
